“I visited Wit & Whim for the first time last Saturday with my little sister for a Charm making event. The store is so charming and inviting, just as Jacquelyn and her staff.
From the moment I stepped in, it was like I stepped into a different moment in time where women gathered, shared stories and remedies, crafted, and shared specially curated gifts with one another.
The store itself houses many unique items, both acquired throughout time and handcrafted.
During the event, my sister and I collectively created a bold bag charm, simple bracelet, and a reminiscent necklace. We had a lovely chat with Jacquelyn, discussing the charms and their origins, while sharing personal stories, and pouring so much of ourselves into the new pieces we're taking home.
After purchasing our items from the charm event, we had another thorough look around and of course, couldn't leave without purchasing another piece each to whisk away.

“Edible Arrangements in Plainview is our go to spot for closing gifts and holiday orders. We consistently rely on them for special occasions and they always deliver.
This past Christmas, I had the chance to meet the owner and their family when I placed a last minute order for a few arrangements. They had everything ready in less than two hours, which was incredibly impressive.
The quality is always good, they are very accommodating, and consistently professional. I love seeing a family owned location deliver such a phenomenal experience while also teaching the next generation about business. Highly recommend supporting this location.”

“This is a small local gift shop that has everything and anything you can possibly think of for gifting someone. The have a wide selection of jewelry, figurines, toys, frames, house wares, trinkets, and more. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also sell helium balloons for all occasions.
I will highlight that this shop has a large turnover of the items they sell; meaning that every time I visit I find new things on the shelves. The store is small, but it is packed with nicely selected items that are a pleasure to look at and buy.
They also offer a large selection of cards for all occasions. They have gifts for special occasions such as weddings, baptisms, first communions and more.
Forget Amazon, instead go to this local store to buy a special gift that will for sure be a hit.”

“The edible arrangements were so good I wish I took pictures.. it was for my sister’s wedding and honestly every body ate through it so quickly!!
The strawberries and bananas were so fresh and sweet the best part of it was I took some home and 2 days later they still tasted fresh!! I think this might be my go to spot. Highly recommended”

“The store is great but had a horrible experience with an associate named Maria..was in the store with my mom looking around looking when we asked the associate Maria for help looking for an item she pointed and said they’re over but they are out of your price range. When we said excuse me she repeated “they are out of your price range”. It shouldn’t matter what the price range is for us we’re customers , looking to spend money and this associate made the experience horrible. Luckily the other associate was sweet and corrected her immediately but now we know we’ll just be shopping online or another location.”

I also got a chocolate covered box and it was super delicious. My kids loved it as well. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I am definitely coming back again!”
“Dodds & Eder recently completed a patio and stone wall project at our home in Roslyn. Our experience with Tim Barry, Director of Landscape Design, and his crew was amazing. Tim is extremely creative and flexible. He listened to our wishes for the look and feel we wanted to achieve and presented a great design for our property. We appreciated that Tim always made himself available and was responsive to our many questions. The crew arrived on time and worked tirelessly each day and provided beautiful, conscientious craftsmanship. They were meticulous about cleaning up at the end of the day. “I can't say I agree with the last reviews. I ignored them and went up there instead because I did need some emergency supplies. I was greered and welcomed as soon as I walked in lol there are 3 Hispanic ladies they were helping others too, there was one standing by the door & 2 by the counter (witch is normal) The one that was by the door usually helps you look for stuff lol they're not watching you. Maybe you think they're watching you because you where really trying to steal! Idk what dummy would steal from a spirtual shop lol But I didn't get that vibe from them. I got everything that I needed, she even offered to order me something that they did not have in stock. I will definitely be back when I come to New York again!”
