Buffalo Ski Center is a great and family-friendly skiing destination located in Colden, NY, conveniently close to the Buffalo metropolitan area. It is noted for being an affordable place with a wonderful, super friendly atmosphere and a true family feel. The center encompasses three ski areas over 300 acres, offering plenty of terrain with 43 trails for beginners, more advanced skiers, and experts. It is a smaller mountain but has so much to offer, including beautiful terrain and often no wait in lift lines, supported by two chair lifts, two t-bars, and two handle lifts. The ski school receives high praise, with instructors described as understanding, patient, and wonderful, especially in children's programs where they provide enthusiasm and encouragement. The available childcare is also noted as fabulous and helpful. While its natural snow reliance is mentioned, the center is consistently celebrated as a top, comprehensive, and attractive place for families to learn skiing and enjoy the slopes.
Buffalo ski center was a great place for our family to learn skiing. Never have to wait in lift lines, and has plenty of terrain to choose from for beginners or more advanced skiers

Holly Molly. There are so many beautiful mountains in New York and this is one of the top.
Live the value and the size and the differing terrain.
We got lucky and came on a day where all the lifts were active.
For a smaller mountain it has so much to offer in the aspect of terrain.

Buffalo Ski Center is a great family friendly place to get some runs in. It's so close to Buffalo it's only a half hour from various north towns.
