Do not go near this place!! My wife had a very slow tire leak, 10lbs a month,. I removed the wheel and tire and diagnosed a leak at the valve stem. I put the wheel in my car and drove over to this location. After they got my information for my contact as well as the year and model of the vehicle, I was quoted $32.39 for the replacement valve stem. A little over an hour later I recived a call that my valve stem included TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system, no kidding that year would) was broken and it would be $104 and I need to bring them the vehicle so they could program it. I say no thanks I'll just pick it up. When I did it had a plain rubber valve stem in it. When I questioned why they just didn't leave the tpms in the rim the service manager, I assume that is who he was, started yelling at me at the top of his lungs. "I did you a solid", I said now my tire light will remain on, where is my tpms? He yelled out in the shop to have them get it. It was broken. Instead of knowing what they were doing they removed my tire and yanked out the tpms before calling me to say they misquoted me originally. Now they want $104 to fix their screw up. Here's the funny part, I was a Firestone Service Manager in South Florida for years. 1st - I would never speak to a customer the way I was spoken to. 2nd - I would admit the mistake and do whatever I could do to make it right, not make up some BS story to cover it up. I will never, ever, return to this den of thieves, and suggest you don't either. Also, when I asked for his district managers name and number he responded, "just call corporate". Beware.

I went into Firestone for an oil change in between my hour lunch break for work. I was surprised as there weren’t many customers and they told me it would take 45 minutes, but I went with it anyway. I sat in the lobby waiting and about thirty minutes in I looked up and saw that my car wheels were all taken off and it was lifted to be checked. I knew that an oil change doesn’t require the tires to be taken off, so I went to the service advisor, Brandon to ask what they were doing. To which he told me, ‘the Firestone way’ was to check your car for services it may need, that they could help save me money with. I was frustrated because I didn’t ask for that, nor was I told that was part of the service. No wonder it took them so long to ‘do an oil change’, because they were trying to make more money off of me. They spooked and peer pressured me to make these additional changes, I didn’t ask for. And they reassure you that this is no extra time, but do not be fooled, it is.

Clean and friendly environment, hassle-free. All employees respectful and very knowledgeable. Never left in the dark always explains what they're doing before they do it to make sure you're on board with the work they're going to do. Work performed is always done above satisfactory and you don't wait long. Highly recommend. Supervisor/manager always greets and says hello goes over all work that has been done and makes sure you're satisfied before you leave. They always go above and beyond to meet my standards and that is why I am a dedicated customer. I definitely appreciate the work they do on my car. My experience was above great.

Called up this location looking to receive an inspection and oil change within the day. They got me on the schedule the same day and serviced me with speed. Nothing but good words to say about firestone. They have a capable work force with experienced technicians that do their job right.

I drove my car in asking for 4 tires, they came out, looked at my car and told me the size I needed and then quoted me the price for the 4 tires alignment etc. I made an appointment, brought my car in and then went to work. I received a call about an hour later from the manager indicating that they had quoted me the wrong size tire and the right size tires would now cost 50 dollars more per tire. This upped my bill about 200.00. I was not happy.
As far as the job they did it was fine--I just didn't appreciate the bait and switch.
When I spoke with the manager he would not do anything for me to make up for their error.
I am a repeat customer there and I do like the work the mechanics themselves do there.

Service was amazing, walked in to get my car inspected and got out in the fastest time i could expect for how busy it was. Staff and Management were super nice and perfectly helpful.

Third time I had an excessive wait. They have always over booked since the store went over to new management. I was told I had a weak battery. This was last fall. My reading said that the voltage was 14.4 volts. Not weak. Even if it had been weak I would not buy a Diehard battery. Still using the same battery with no problems. I believe that I was being lied to just to pad the bill. As of now I don't plan to ever return to this location on Wolf Rd. in Colonie, NY.
