I started interacting with keybank in February. I have had 7-8 interactions between the phone and in branch. There were only 2-3 interactions I felt went smooth. The remaining interactions have been frustrating. the level of knowledge between employees are vastly different. Feel free to reach out to me Key, but I can't grantee we will have a future together. Banking should be easy, not frustrating.I have selected the wolf road branch as my 1 star as I feel they are the cause for majority of my frustrations. All of the people have been very sweet, however the inconsistency of information is the driver of this review. I could as the same question to 3 people and receive 3 different answers. That's kind of scary..

Just came thru the drive thru and had a young lady (blonde with glasses ) that was the teller .......amazing , helpful , very polite and she took time out of her day to simple write "have a great day ? " on the envelope......that..... THAT is customer service with smile it's the small things some people dont appreciate , I hope this young lady keeps her positive, outgoing attitude she will Definitely go places kudos !!!!!

I had a great experience with my numerous appointments with Jodi Sherman. She answered all my questions and explained everything in great detail. I’m very pleased with the service and level of professionalism that Jodi provided. I would highly recommend key bank.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the personnel, at this location. They address me by my first name when I walk in. (And there has been a few staff changes, in my limited amount of time as a customer) Always friendly, and helpful too the upmost. Never had a problem that could not be resolved on the spot. Would like too acknowledge Jodie, and Nicole particularly for their outstanding service. (Although Nicole moved on .... head teller position at another branch, which I was told was a promotion and rightfully so) Jodie has been nothing short of stellar as well. Always there too help me. And gets the situation handled. Be proud of your people at this location. They are Top Notch period. I’ve enjoyed doing business with them and your bank ?

Doors are locked because of the pandemic. So one would think transaction speed would be at least a small consideration for the ridiculous amount of cars in the drive thru. Nope. If this was hospital then the drive thru is the morgue - we all died waiting in line.

Given misinformation by the now shuttered Rensselaer branch and a phone representative regarding overdraft fees. Was assured and reasonably thought that by opting out to overdrafts that this was for all transactions were subject to this declination. I mean, who wants to pay $38.50 to cover a minimal charge?! Was in a serious automobile accident in December and was out of work and was having financial issues. My account was low on funds. Didn't use my account for that reason. Much to my shock and dismay the bank pays ACH transactions knowing that you have little to no balance in your account. I even had to swallow my pride and start a crowdsource fundraiser and the proceeds were direct deposited to my account.. Keybank slammed my account with fees to the tune of $540. My efforts to have them budge on the fees were futile. I feel like I've been robbed by this corporate conglomerate. No customer empathy or consideration for loyalty. Was actually told by a rep in the Enterprise Client Relations (office of the president) that to help you with the fees it would be unfair!? Unfair is stealing money from people. Purely predatory and absolutely out to rake in millions. Stay away.

I love this bank personally I e been with them for four years now and they're always extremely helpful and very friendly. I don't really understand the negative reviews. They are always so outgoing and nice I personally never had an issue with this bank. A couple times I had to unforntualy deal with fraud on my account and they cleared it right away and helped me out and never seem to be annoyed to help. Highly recommend.

Every time I go in there there’s usually four or five people Behind the counter, and maybe one person working. Without a doubt out of all the key banks I’ve been to in the area this is by far the worst managed bank. It happens to be the closest to me but I’ve considered switching banks simply because of this. Either need better staff or stricter management.

#WorstDriveThru multiple times a customer arriving after me gets service from the drive thru before me and leaves before me! had to advise them to clean the #FilthyTerminals! no answer to the call button! no carrier in the tube... waited 5 min before having to call them about it!

I experienced a charge to my account from a merchant that I had cancelled my subscription to, that sent my account into the negative. I talked with a representative the next day at another branch who said that since I was dealing with the issue and it was a merchant error and not mine, and the charge was getting refunded, if I was to experience an overdraft fee, it would be refunded. However I went to this branch on wolf road once the fee hit and the so called manager said there was no way to refund the charge. The people are all very nice here until you experience something like this, they'll start talking louder to embarrass you in front of other people and they'll insist on their rules without any displays of sympathy or understanding. I am extremely disappointed that people could actually be so wrapped up in a company that they could look account holders dead in the face and have no sympathy. I'm sorry but without us, your bank wouldn't have money, and therefore the corporation, its owners, and it's employees wouldn't make money.
