If it was not for CHRIS I would have immediately given 1 star. CHRIS is the glue to this establishment and I hope his boss sees this because he deserve a bonus and a raise.So when I first walked in it was me my boyfriend and our 6 month old daughter. None of the staff members said a word. They hardly looked our way- and the entrance is big you can clearly see if someone walks in. CHRIS was at the register with another customer. The 2 ladies in there that work there said nothing to us. The younger of the 2 finally said something "hi how are you" she may have felt forced because she didn't ask if we needed assistance, it felt very robotic, and she proceeded to stand there and do nothing. (Later on when we were checking out, another family came in and she immediately asked them how they were doing and if they needed help and that she would be happy to assist them. I'm trying so hard not to pull the race card right now but their welcoming was so much warmer, attentive, and genuine). I can tell why this place has such bad reviews. Believe them, they aren't made up.Anyways after several minutes of looking around and getting ready to leave from lack of assistance from 2 different floor team members, CHRIS walked over and introduced himself, shook my boyfriend's hand, and asked us if we needed help. From start to finish CHRIS was spectacular. He was professional and knowledgeable, taking my boyfriend's measurements and finding him the perfect suit in literally under 5 minutes. He listened to our concerns and our price range, as this suit is being worn for a Wedding with a very short ceremony, and he went above and beyond.His customer service is truly impeccable- perfect if you ask me. My annoyance turned into praise and appreciation. He was absolutely wonderful. He deserves all the accolades for how well he assisted us. From start to finish I have 0 complaints because of him.Your other assosicates need a class on superior customer service and CHRIS would be able to give that class effortlessly. THANK YOU CHRIS. Keep being the amazing human that you are!

This location in particular is horrible. My husband and I went in this store to get a few things, no one greeted us, didn’t ask us if we needed help. The three gentlemen that was there, were having a full blown conversation while we were waiting for someone to approach us. And when we approach them they were very dismissive, rude *body shame* and not helpful at all. Will never step foot into this location again!

I flew into Albany and realized I left my sportcoat in my car in Chicago. I went right to the store and helped with a new one off the rack.

Absolutely horrible experience. The place was understaffed and busy and as a result the workers were extremely rude and completely useless. I went in with my brother to just get some simple measurements for a suit. After waiting 35 minutes, the lady that finally serviced me was extremely reluctant to help and honestly just had a terrible attitude and was making unnecessary comments. I’m not sure if it’s because me and my brother were the only brown customers in the store at the time, but I certainly noticed we were treated considerably worse than anyone else in the store. I’m genuinely appalled and disgusted.

If it weren’t for John at Men’s Warehouse in Colonie, this experience would have been a trainwreck. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE. What an experience…I’m the groom with 8 other groomsmen who are all getting tux rentals from Men’s Warehouse in Albany. When I sign up, I’m told that I will get my rental for free because I’m the groom of such a large party. Come time to pick up my rental, no discount.I am asked to look through my emails for the coupon and guess what? I HAVE RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM MEN’S WAREHOUSE EVERY DAY SINCE 5 MONTHS AGO AND NOT ONE OF THEM IS THE COUPON. I’m trying to use filters and nothing is working, meanwhile the place is filled with other customers waiting on me. The guy behind the counter helping me is on his phone, refuses to call corporate, and really had no idea what he was doing.Finally, John steps in and literally fixes everything. He calls corporate, gets me my discount, and brings me over to get my tux fitted. He tells me that the person who sent up my account never activated the discount code.So here I am finally trying on my tux and I’m assuming that John is helping someone else because so many people are in this store. I am taking my sweet time getting this thing on and when I open the door, John is right there patiently waiting for me. He sets me up and I’m on my way.I normally don’t write reviews but I felt really bad for my guy John. Working with incompetent people sucks, especially when there are so many people waiting on you. Finding someone who takes the time to be helpful in a situation like this is a rarity.

I would rate this establishment ZERO stars if I could. Doing business with them is like pulling teeth - avoid at all costs and find a different place to go for your suit needs if you want to save yourself the aggravation.

This was my third time visiting this location and I have yet to buy a suit from them. The sales people do not seem interested in helping me at wise before I ended up going to another business and ended up buying $1000.00+ suits.This time I was shopping for my teenage son who is tall and skinny. I approached a salesman who was already working with a customer to ask if there was a way to get in a queue for assistance. He asked what I wanted and quickly took my son’s measurements and sent me off to look on our own. Other sales people saw us but none approach us and we had questions. We ended up purchasing elsewhere. Not sure what their business model is, perhaps they prefer to sell to standard sizes.

Professional, guys measuring was precise, unfortunately, the wedding we were attended was canceled. They were extremely friendly. Refunded, the place is a one stop easy for groomsmen.

We wandered around the store and no one offered to help. We were looking for suits for our wedding. We finally found and asked someone to help us who spent most of his time staring at himself in the mirror. We decided it was not a good idea to try to order suits from them because we were told they didn’t have a system to look up suits at other locations for our groomsmen outside of NYS. When we tried to check out for a pair of jeans, we waited at an empty register for well over 5 minutes and no one came. We ended up putting them back and walked out.

I just bought three suits and overall had a good experience. I have been coming here for years. I just went to pick up my three suit and they gave them to me in a plastic bag. I honestly expected them to be in garment bags. When I asked if they had garment bags they said they were 35.00 and then I was given two free garment bags ...the basic ones...which were fine...but I had to open them and put my suits in them when I got home

The customer service is good, but my measurements for my fitting were way off. Was worried the corrections on my rental wouldn't be ready in time for the wedding. My jacket was easily 4 sizes too small, which made no sense, and the pants were approximately 2 inches too short. Thankfully they were ready the day of the wedding, but absolutely not something you want to have to worry about.

I don’t know if it’s this store in particular or an issue with the company in general, but definitely won’t be using Men’s Wearhouse again. My wedding is on Saturday, and we got all my groomsmen tux rentals from Men’s Wearhouse since we’re all scattered across NYS.It was a horrible mistake. One groomsmen’s suit was 2 sizes too small, another didn’t have pants that fit, and my best man doesn’t have a suit at all. My best man got a confirmation email yesterday saying the tux was available for him to pick up, so he went today to get it. All they had was the packing slip and no suit. No one knows where this suit is and he was told it was not a big deal, but the wedding is TWO days away.My best man had to reorder his tux and have it sent to a store an hour away from the venue to be picked up the morning of the wedding which is pushing it, especially with pictures being done at noon. Who knows if the thing will even fit with everyone having some sort of issue. Never using Men’s Wearhouse again.
