Placed an order through grub hub, got confirmation messages, drove all the way here to get told that there are no night cooks. It would make sense if customers were contacted about the inability to fulfill orders. According to the staff this has been an ongoing issue, so I’m sure I’m not the first. This is fixable, please don’t waste peoples time.

Sam was amazing. The food was delicious.I think I’ll come in when she’s working. The others are not flooring anyone. Come in and ask for Sam she will take care of you and she is people friendly.

The staff there are so rude. The hours on Google say they close at 1 am. I came at 11 pm, and they said they were closed. ?

Food was horrible! Manager would not even come out to talk to all the customers who were angry which were very angry & unsatisfied! Worse experience that I have ever had & I have been there many times! Had to eat with plastic silverware, food was overcooked, had to wait over 20 minutes for drinks!

Worst experience ever waited 29 minutes for drinks then had to go to the bar myself to get my drink food was a hour wait steak was over cooked had to eat with plastic silverware un believable

Waited over 30 minutes to be seated. There were plenty of open tables but not enough wait staff, so we had to wait. Other customers left before being seated. Food wise, they were out of many of the items that were our first choice. We settled on sandwiches, but their sizes were smaller than expected. The only good part of our experience was our waitress, who was very attentive once we were seated. She was overwhelmed but kept her smile and happy attitude. Otherwise, an overall poor experience.Parking: Number of spots out front is limited.

Don't ever place your order through the website, I've tried three times and have been charged three times, two times I was told upon arrival that they had run out of what I had order, and was not offered something different either time, The refund took 18 days, and 12 days both required multiple calls. Third time they said they were closed there were atleast 8 people eating and drinking at the bar, hopefully the refund is punctual this time.

I never take the time to review a place but this place is ridiculous. Placed an order for pick up and on my break from work went to grab it when they told me the kitchen was all the sudden closed early even though they already charged my card but for some reason didn’t feel the need to let me know my order would be cancelled so not only do I have to wait to be refunded because they ran my card but I also wasted time out of my break and now don’t even have enough time to stop else where, I guess I wont get to eat for the rest of my shift, good stuff. I also picked up an order last week and was told it would be done at a specific time and then had to wait 20 extra minutes on my break from work. If there’s issues with take out orders, don’t accept them in the first place. Terrible business practice, which is unfortunate because I really like the food but I will never give this place my business again. I would give 0 stars if I could

We got there at 5:30 on 4/13/2024 and they said it was a 40 min wait. At 6:40 we were still waiting. I went up to the guy and he said there was 2 ahead of us so it would be about 10 more minutes. At 7:05 I went up again and we asked to talk to the manager but he said he was too busy to come out. At this time there was 6 that went ahead of us. He said oh your are up next. For waiting almost 2 hours we said that that we were leaving. We will never go back there again.

I never write a review. I have been to this smoky bones alot. This was my last time to go there. We sat waiting for an hour and a half. When where told we where next over and over. I asked to speak to the manager but he was to busy to come out. Said they had many call outs. Well there are so many restaurants in the area. With service like they have I'm sure they will have more walking out. Good luck going there.

I would like everyone know state law states you must have a bartender class if you serve behind the bar before age 21 . The currently have a girl working there under 21 with out this when a now former staff member stated this she was fired. Not to mention this girl has sexually harassed many men that work there and turned it around on them. They have lost 6 staff members in the last two days due to this. Two were fired and four quit. Corporate is aware and is doing nothing don’t eat there and allow this to continue. The nys liquor authority has been told and will be doing an investigation. Shame on management and the staff the watched this and did nothing

Customer service was great, as was the food! I hadn't been here in years because I'd moved to Florida. But as soon as I came back to Albany, Smokey Bones was the first restaurant where I wanted to eat. And it didn't disappoint.Kid-friendliness: Children are welcomed and high chairs are readily available for infants.
