The AutoZone on New York Ave gave me horrible, rude service. I went in to exchange a turn signal bulb and they gave me the same one back. Came to the Commack location, and the bulb they gave me wasn’t even in the system. Thankfully, the store manager here was super helpful and got it all sorted. I’ll be coming back to Commack from now on.

The tail light bulb on my Lexus was out. Daniel helped me purchase a new one AND offered to help me replace it. Asst Managers Daniel and James were terrific! I highly recommend this autozone store for your automotive needs! They are knowledgeable and professional and courteous. My lucky day was walking into their store!

Literally created an account just to leave this review. I understand the place closes at 9 but my brake light went out & I don’t want to get pulled over… so I show up at 8:30 with a simple question of which lightbulb I need for my car. This gentleman with blonde hair & a beanie (I don’t remember exactly it happened too fast) literally came up huffing & puffing saying “it’s literally 8:40, alright I can help you sir” almost as if he wanted to hear me & didn’t even bother being discreet about it. I understand people coming in last minute sucks, trust me I do (I avoid it at all costs) but at least I hide it & this is after working consecutive 12hr shifts back to back. I don’t know his name & I don’t wish ill will upon anybody but I immediately walked out. I hope he doesn’t get fired because I get it but I hope he comes to realize that that’s not the way you treat or talk to customers. Unprofessional as hell. Please stop being rude, we all work too.

I always use Commack #6489. Daniel helped me with my purchase. He is beyond fabulous!! He helped me locate my items-even went into the back to find my item. Offered to change my wipers which saved me a trip to my mechanic! Love this store and thank you Daniel!!

Ruth was amazing. She took the time to cross reference a relay with me on the internet because my part number was not showing in the computer. Together we found the relay I needed and it is being brought in from another store. THANK YOU!!!

I stopped in with a battery issue and felt helpless as i am not handy when it comes to cars. The two workers that helped me John F & Liz D were so helpful and hands on with identifying the issue and going the extra mile to make sure not only was it taken care of but in the correct way. I have never shopped at Autozone before but will go to this location anytime i am in need of car parts based on the expertise and knowledge these two wonderful employees had. They truly went the extra mile and i greatly thank them for that.

Stopped in on 5/3/24. And I stopped in right before closing to pick up a headlight for my Camry and return an oil filter canister wrench. Ruth went above and beyond to help me out and stayed late to take care of me. She’s very sweet and caring. Can’t ask for better management. Thanks Ruth!

Great experience! Was able to get help from an employee right away as soon as I walked in! Helped me with a headlight bulb and a wiper blade for my car. Didn’t have to look up what aisle it was in. He even directed me to the products. Thanks again!

I needed new wiper blades and I was advised of the correct ones needed and pointed in the right direction, not only that but the manager Ruth came out and installed the new wipers for me. Great customer service, in and out. Always reliable.
