It originally was a pretty place and press tile, but I could no longer get it clean. I opted for a wood floor, natural red oak. They ripped out the original floor, installed the wood, and put three layers of Bona Mega Finish. No stain, but I asked for semi-gloss. They did everything in two and a half days! It is gorgeous!!
