I have been to the tire center for 3 or 4 times for various tire related work. Even with appointment, once I had to wait over 2 hours for tire rotation. Today I had another bad experience from the tire center staff, especially supervisor named Frank. I bought expensive sets of Bridgestone tires for my car in 2023 and even with proper alignment and recommended rotations 2 tires were badly worn out within warranty period and Costco refused to considering prorating the tire value, blaming improper alignment. I decided to replace the tires in a local tire center. In general, Costco is great, but not the tire center, unprofessional attitude. No more tires from Costco.

The staff here is great, and the store is well-managed, but I’m giving one star because of the artificial turf outside. Fake grass is known to contain PFAS—harmful “forever chemicals” linked to cancer—and microplastics that pollute the environment. Costco makes millions a year and could easily afford real landscaping instead of this toxic, unnecessary turf. Just hire a company to take care of the small patches of dirt and trees—problem solved.

Huge shout out to Cait who not only was super friendly and helpful throughout my entire experience, but also fixed an issue that occurred that otherwise would’ve left me writing a completely different review. Costco is really lucky to have an employee like Cait who goes the extra mile and I’ll recommend getting tires from Costco just because of her. Thanks Cait!

I bought tires from Costco, had them put on the car. This was a good experience. 5 months later I go back because of a slow air leak. I make an appointment, go in at my appointment time. Someone comes in behind me and gets helped first. As of this post I have been sitting here over an hour for a slow leak in one of my tires. I can go into a tire shop and get it fixed in 10 minutes with no appointment.

Honest, trustworthy and very knowledgeable. Thank you everyone, for the great experience. I brought my car here on Saturday and they did an excellent job with a very short wait. Thank you for being so customer centric and for taking such great care of my vehicle. I highly recommend for anyone in need of tire service.

Costco have the best prices, tires have installation balance and road hazard included in the price also the batteries coming with 3 years warranty

Long term satisfied Costco member here except for my recent visit to Commack Costco the other day. Was totally turned off and surprised about the treatment during my shopping experience. Went to self checkout with a few items where three employees were standing and approaching customers like drill sergeants. First demanding I show them my membership card and then giving orders to stand at a certain place and not move forward until given direction. Then at register have to scan my membership card again (which is to be expected). After finishing transaction with receipt in hand, I am stopped again by an employee stationed right in front of self-checkout who demanded my receipt. Puzzled why but I show it to her and ask for the reason when they are going to check my receipt at the exit. She replied with some prepared verbiage and when it became apparent to her that I wasn't buying it, she ended by saying "It's My Job". I walked on and of course receipt checked again at exit. Total unpleasant shopping trip to Costco, felt like I was being run through an in-processing at a corrections facility. I have no plans to return to this store.

Appalled by the customer service at this location. Went in with my friend using her moms card and they refused us service and made a scene in front of the entire checkout area with a worker calling us liars. Her mom now has to come back and checkout on our behalf which is ridiculous considering that she sent us shopping since she was not able to go. Inconvenient for us and embarrassing for them.

I love Costco. The one in commack is missing price signs all over the store. the things I was interested in I just gave up If I knew how much. i May have bought them.

We have used Costco Tires Center for all the tire needs in our household for decades now. As soon as we reach end of life on the original tires, we are here finding a replacement set with full hazard warrantee and free tire rotations. Prices compare to online discount retailers, great service, you can shop while you wait for your car to be serviced, stock covers the bestselling products from Michelin / Bridgestone.
