The manager is so rude and disrespectful. I’m a book collector. I had 9 books ready to check out but one of them was damaged. I tell the cashier and she’s sweet and asks the manager if she can discount it. The manager scuffs, rolls her eyes, laughs and says no. After her attitude I just say cancel the transaction and I walk out. I was ready to spend 150+ on these books. Their loss I guess.

I am a customer spend thousands at the commack store I am a kidney transplant patient so I wear a mask everywhere I go as I walk into the store there was the security guy walking everywhere I walk that was so rude and make me look like a thief he followed me the entire store ask do you have a problem with me shopping in the store he said nothing I went and paid for my stuff over $800 I spent I ask the guy name the cashier said his name is Dexter they say he is new and does that to every one on my way out he walk in the parking lot taking pictures of my vehicle I ask him what’s his problem he said me and don’t come back in the store with a mask that’s why he following me I was so embarrassed and felt so shameful that because of my illness I was treated this way home goods should put a sign sick people should not come into commack stores this was today 3/17/2025 around pm I will never go to that store again I even went back inside to ask for the manager that guy block me and said he is the manager wow this is no way to treat customers who are paying and shopping in your stores I spend a lot of money there but never again I will go to that store Dexter so called manager short black little heavyset guy with glasses he own the stores you all got to do something about this so no one else experience what I went through

Staff is highly unhelpful and the pink haired (manager?) is extremely curt and rude. I received two separate gift cards for Christmas from family members and during checkout there was an issue with one of the gift cards, it only took off an odd amount while the gift card was worth much more. I ended up paying out of pocket the rest because no one was willing to help or even look further into the issue. When the receipt printed, suddenly the remaining balance is listed on it (the exact amount I initially told both associates), when I asked to speak with someone to ensure this issue wouldn’t happen next time, still the same curt, dismissive and rude responses. Very sad because this used to be my home store and now I refuse to give them my business. Why be rude to the people who keep you employed?

The manager, unaware of her name due to the absence of a uniform or name tag, processed our purchases. We decided against a few items, leaving them in the cart near the register for go-backs. However, when the manager retrieved the cart, she displayed a displeased attitude, shaking her head and glaring at us in front of other customers in line.
