I went into JDThomas Salon for the fist time last week. Everyone in the salon was so warm and welcoming. Alyssa my stylist was very friendly and helpful with helping me decide on how I wanted my hair cut. My hair cut came out beautiful and I have gotten so many compliments. I cant wait to go back!

Lauren has been doing my full head highlight since 2016 and will forever see her for my hair. She does an amazing job making sure I am happy with my hair and she is very great at making sure my blonde highlights are even and blend with my natural hair. She goes above and beyond to make sure every step of the process from glazing to the timing of the foil with the dye in my hair is perfect. Lauren is very personable as well and down to earth. My experience at this salon is nothing less than perfect every time im here. I met one of the salon assistants (I forgot your name Im sorry!), who blow out my hair and straightened it. She was one of the most sweetest people I have met. She made sure my hair after it washed, was perfect and I trust her to do my next blow out. She took her time to make sure the blow out was what I wanted and how I wanted my hair parted. I will definitely book a blow out with her next time I need. She and Lauren deserve the best. They make me feel confident and a new person every time I come in. JD Thomas, thank you for making sure I am happy and treating me as a beautiful person. If I could give more than 5 starts I would. THANK YOU!!!!!

I have been a loyal client of this wonderful salon for over 13 years, and my experience has been nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I walk in, I am greeted warmly by name, which makes me feel right at home.
Dawn, my stylist, has been taking care of my hair for all these years, and she is simply amazing. Her talent and expertise are unmatched, and I have complete trust in her ability to make my hair look its best. Over time, Dawn has become more than just my stylist; she has become a dear friend.
The entire staff at the salon is equally impressive. Everyone is friendly, professional, and dedicated to making each visit a pleasant one. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and it’s clear that the team truly cares about their clients.

I have been going to the salon for two years now and I will never go anywhere else. I get my hair done by Alyssa and whenever I go in I tell her I want to go blonder. She always delivers with the color while still trying to keep mg hair as healthy as possible. She listens to what I want while also providing insight to make sure she obtains the color I am looking for. Alyssa is so fun and easy to talk to while I’m in the chair. I am originally from Queens but moved out to Nassau County almost 20 years ago. I love my stylist that I have seen for over 23 years. Drove to Queens every 4 months for color and highlights. My sister lives in Suffolk, she told me about this Salon and raved so much about it I finally said OK just once I will try it. I had a picture of the different highlights I wanted, along with a new style. I had previously sent it to my original girl in Queens, who told me I would never achieve that color or style. I sent the same picture to a woman who works at the Salon named Lauren. In seconds told me how she could do it, plus add a few extensions for fullness as my hair is already long, I was a little hesitate, but went for it. Oh my god, I look younger, and the highlights are amazing. I love my old stylist, but I have to say I am now going to be a forever JD Salon customer. Especially now Lauren is my new girl. Not to mention the Salon is big and beautifully designed. A treat all the way around. I highly recommend. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I do not recommend, I feel like the owner wants to charge for high-quality prices with low quality performance. I asked for my hair not to be sprayed heavy with hairspray, but my request was overlooked., The young girl there she is most likely inexperienced. She could touch my hair and see that my hair is thin and maybe not linger so long with the hot curling iron on my hair. I usually pay $40 for an absolute outstanding hair curl by my hairstylist Nelly, but I came here because Nelly is closed on Mondays. So I decided to try this place with fairly good reviews, but I am very disappointed at how bad and fried my hair looks and how rude the owner is
