Usually pretty empty, and very straightforward checkout. Very clean and organized, great location-exclusive clearance deals, and staff are all great. Location is excellent too!

We needed drywall delivered because it wouldn't fit in our car. We decided to have everything we needed delivered as well with the drywall. We received everything EXCEPT the drywall. When we called the store we were told "once it leaves our store we can't do anything about it". They said we should have received an email confirming delivery and we should follow the instructions in the email if there was a problem with delivery. We received that email confirmation, but there was no information regarding who to contact if there was a problem. Luckily the drywall we ordered was only $14. Thankfully they did not misplace the hundreds of dollars worth of stone we ordered, because according to Lowes, once it leaves their site, they no longer are responsible for what happens. We never had a problem with Home Depot. We tried Lowes because it was less expensive. Perhaps Home Depot is slightly more expensive because you actually will get the items you purchased.

The store never picks up the phone and they are terrible with orders I have had to return multiple times to the store to reorder items that were never shipped or return items that came broken.

This store does NOT give military discounts. I went to store in Commack. I am a registered disabled veteran with Lowe’s. They wouldn’t give a military discount. I asked, they looked up and promptly called the manager who said Nope! So thanks for nothing Lisa. All that buttering me up and disingenuous chatter but deep down veterans do not mean any to your snd your store. Home Depot gave me 10%. If you are a disabled veteran do not expect a discount .typical Long Island.

Lowe's in Commack gets 5 stars
The female employee that just spoke to me in a very condescending way gets zero stars. I asked for a simple request of clear adhesive for a broken mirror, and this employee proceeded to play mind games with me, as if I was not making it clear, as to what I was specifically looking for. I then , showed her a photo of the broken mirror which threw a wrench in her program of trying to play mind games with me. Then, when I asked for a white adhesive, I just asked her to confirm that the adhesive packaging indicates that it is a white color adhesive. She then rolled her eyes, shook her head, and looked at her coworker like I was ignorant. And to top it off I was walking with a cane, so it was obvious that I needed assistance with simple questions. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Your prize is that you are now a superstar on a google review

We have an undelivered order… after calling countless times, we were told that they can’t do anything about it because the order was delivered. We have never received the order and this is the proof of delivery we got.
