The salon is good however they need more staff and to extend their hours.They typically only have the owner, one hair stylist, and a wash girl who helps out with blow drys when they’re busy while closing early. It’s unfortunate because the blow drys are good, but unless you’re booking weeks in advance there’s never any availability. Any other salon for the most part you can call for a blow dry the week of no problem, I guess these are the problems with small salons.

This salon used to be good but lately Adriana has been rude to me the last two times I came in. She belittles my hair color in front of other customers and has gotten angry at me for not coming sooner, knowing I live far. This time around, I went home and saw that my grays were also not covered at all. Not to mention she also charged me the full blow out price even though I didn’t get a blow out. I am only giving her two stars instead of 1 star because she did my hair properly the first two times I was there and wasn’t rude to me back then. But something has changed and the past two times I’ve been here, I have felt extremely uncomfortable sitting there while being talked down to and argued with. The last time she did this, I assumed she was having a bad day and let it slide. I still made another appointment despite that experience. But this time I went, it was the same thing except she also didn’t cover my grays and overcharged me. I’m sad to say that I don’t think I’ll be back. I don’t feel happy writing this review but I also really don’t understand why she has to be rude…it really doesn’t take a lot to be kind to a paying customer.

Not a good experience at all. I read all of the amazing reviews which prompted me to try this place for a cut. I was visiting from out of town and I couldn’t get in with my regular girl. I figured it was just a trim and a few layers. The salon was very clean and friendly staff. My appt was with Maria Elena. She was very sweet but she didn’t listen to what I wanted. I I wanted a few layers blended with the rest of my hair but she cut a very blunt and very short cut for the front sides of my hair and the back is long and it’s so uneven. I was put in for a blow dry but she didn’t want to dry it because I think she knew how bad it looked. She said since it was raining she would throw some product in but I really would have liked a blow dry to see how it looked right then and there. Well, needless to say, I won’t be going back and I will go back to my regular girl to have my hair chopped off to even it out with the front.

Salon A itself is a warm, inviting, and lovely space - Adrianna and her Team made me feel welcome and at home.

I want to be very careful how I word this Review as I do not want it to appear out of anger. I went to Salon A during the beginning of the Covid Pandemic. Salon A accepted customers not wearing a mask,. She personally said to me that she thought the whole Covid Pandemic was nonsense, and she thought people were just sick. I stopped going, as I found her to be a bit of a health hazard. There is much more to being a good hair stylist then putting color on your hair. To me, this takes much more. Go at your own risk - and make sure you wear a mask, for your own protection. God bless $$
