Been a customer since Jan 2011. I asked anthony b why the display case in front of ice cream area was empty. anthony b replied, display case was broken. For the f -- in record. I do not work at shoprite, so I had no clue. NEED TO HAVE A SIGN. INDICATING WHEN A HUGE DISPLAY IS NOT FUNCTIONING. anthony b stated to give him a list of items that I need from the display case. So he can go in back of store to retrieve items. I hope upper management addresses accordingly.

They changed the layout of the store into the most nonsensical system ever. Whoever organized the aisles is insane. For example, a can of refried beans are not in the aisle marked BEANS, not international, not canned goods. It's in a display by the flour and baked goods. Cotija cheese isn't in the CHEESE section: it's in a random display by the meats.
Seriously, what is wrong with this store?

Terrific store! But, no chopped dates for my hot cereal like I buy at Stop & Shop. And no BirdsEye risottos like I buy at Publix in Florida.

I’m giving the ShopRite in Commack 4 stars because it's a solid place to get your groceries. What really stands out are the fantastic coupons they offer; I always manage to save a good amount of money using them. The deli staff is also wonderful—they're always friendly and helpful, even when the store is busy.
The store is generally clean and well-organized. I can usually get in and out fairly quickly.
There's room for improvement. Like many supermarkets, it can get crowded during peak hours, and checkout lines can be a bit slow. Overall, though, the great coupons and excellent deli staff make this ShopRite a reliable choice for my grocery needs

They changed the self checkout area to an enforced 20 item max, which I can appreciate when the store is busy. Was told I must go on a regular line when the self checkout was empty yet only two lanes were open with cashiers at 9:30 at night and of course those two lanes had lines

*UPDATE* I returned the meat and bought new packages with new expiration dates. When I got home to open them up, THEY WERE AGAIN BAD AND SMELLED ROTTEN!!
Bought $150 of Kosher meat that expires 7 days from today. Opened the packages and it was all rotten…. Unfortunately I don’t live near there…Called the store and they are going to make me bring in all of that smelly expired meat. Annoying…

Poor service from the staff. Cashier didn’t even bothered packing my groceries and proceeded with the next customer. I had a sling on and all he said was to give him a minute after he attends the next person online. For that I would’ve just gone to the self check out and done it myself. I call office and couldn’t speak to the manager because he was on a “call”. Person who answered was extremely unprofessional and advise that if I want my groceries packed I should ask. Like what?!?!?! So do they just have a cashier just to ring purchase? Why have one in the first place and just make the entire supermarket self check out. I will NOT be going back to this supermarket in Commack since it’s NOT the first time I’ve encountered unprofessionalism from the staff at the cashier.

Clean, with well stocked aisles, helpful customer service and everyone I encountered that worked there, had the same courteous, friendly and helpful demeanor. Good produce section and a nice selection of meats and fish

Love shopping there. Self-checkout is great ran by Kyle and others. They seem to be very equal employment opportunity place. Hiring old people to help their income. Place is always clean. Best store in town.

Shop Rite in Commack is great. Very nice selection of foods, and courteous staff. I just moved back to town, and I will be food shopping here all of the time.
