I truly and honestly cannot say enough good things about Sunken Meadow Auto. EVERYONE there is kind, helpful and informative. They do not lie to you, they do not push you along, they treat you like a human being who deserves respect. I was recently in a car accident and my car was totaled and Geico (the guy who hit me insurance) was rear ending me all over again and the staff at Sunken Meadow honestly were the only saving grace I had and I'm so thankful and lucky to have used them. They listened to my concerns and understood me and didn't just treat me like a invoice. Honestly, there is no other place to bring your car. If you need something, and they can help you, unlike most corporations today, SUNKEN MEADOW WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU.

This was one of the worst experiences i have ever had with a car repair shop. I left there with my mouth open in shock at the treatment that I received at sunken metal auto collision in Commack. I don't even understand how an insurance company would ever agree to work with such an unprofessional horribly rude company. They should be taken off the list for insurance companies to work with. My car had a small fender bender which, in fact my car was just a little scratch in the back from backing up into the parkinglot car. They had my car for over a week, 9 days. A gentleman spoke to my husband upon dropping the car off and they said it would take approximately 4 days. I was paying for a rental in the meantime. So after it was over a week, we decided to call. The manager came on the phone and called my husband a liar saying that info was not accurate. she was defensive from the start as he was very respectful and kind. We were in shock at the attitude that we received for no reason. And she was the manager which was ridiculous on how she was so rude. I spoke to an older lady on the phone as well, who also was incredibly rude, and between these two women, I have never received such customer service as poor as this. My husband and I were in such shock because we were just questioning when the car would be ready. To then, hearing the old lady yell at us on the phone for absolutely no reason. Then the following day, which was about nine days later not four we want to go pick up the car after calling a couple of times. Then the older lady who we had received the attitude from. Tells us that we cashed a check for $100. My husband and I did not remember receiving a check from the insurance company but instead of sending it to the auto repair, they sent it to us. So the old lady had spoken to my husband on the phone as I was already driving to the dealership, he told her to just let me know that she had spoken to him so I was aware to pay the extra hundred dollars. I get to the dealership and I say "hello I'm there to pick up my car." The older lady was a complete nightmare! She pointed her finger at me and then to a piece of paper yelling how I cash the check. Now mind you she did not tell me she spoke to my husband, so I don't know what she's talking about at this point. My husband told her to let me know that they spoke. And instead of her kindly explaining that she spoke to my husband before me getting there, she wanted to chastise me to yell at me, saying how I owe an extra hundred dollars and I cashed the check yelling at me pointing her finger in my face. The manager decided to walk on out just to stand there and not say anything at one point. So as I'm writing a check, I say calmly "you should be a little nicer to people." then she decides to yell at me, saying that "I have an attitude a mile long ....a mile long! And I need an adjustment!" At this point no one was going to speak to me like this. The way she handled the situation was so unprofessional and I don't care how old you are. No one should speak to their customers like that!! I am always so kind to people, and so respectful to people, especially people who are older than me, and I was treated like garbage as she then slammed the invoice down, and basically chucked it at me while yelling at me that I cash the check pointing in my face telling me I need an attitude adjustment. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Worst experience ever she should be fired.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD This shop has had our vehicle for a month and a half. For the past two weeks, they claimed "you'll get it back tomorrow." We were told today that someone backed up into the car and took out almost the entire the drivers side door/bumper while it was in the parking lot. At this rate, it will take 3 more years until we see our vehicle back. I am absolutely LIVID and my husband is distraught. Totally unacceptable. What kind of careless employees do you have there? We will NEVER give this shop our business ever again.

Outstanding work done in repairing my BMW. Looks brand again after a fender bender. Staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. A first class operation. Communication was superb throughout the experience and assisted me with an easy aquirement if a rental car that was waiting for me when I brought my car in. Would highly recommend Sunken Meadow Autobody to anyone looking for top-notched workmenship. My only complaint through my experience, and it has nothing to do with Sunken Meadow Autobody Shop, is Geico. What a bunch of slime balls. They made me file 2 separate insurance claims with 2 separate $1000 deductibles - crooks all the way, but that is for another review!

This was my second time at sunken meadow and they are wonderful. The price was fair, my car was finished on time and very quickly. Not only did they replace my bumper but my car was also washed and vacuumed which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend and will definitely use them again in the future.Service: Body & Trim

I cannot give this place a strong enough recommendation. They are professional, efficient, and make the experience as easy as possible. My car was hit and the repairs were handled through the insurance of the person who hit me. The damage was relatively minor, and my car was ready the next day. They did a great job.

I don't have enough kind words to say about my experience. Absolutely flawless from the second I contacted Melissa that I needed my car fixed to the second I picked up the car. I was treated like family. Upon dropping off my car I was greeted with a rental. I was in and out in less than 5 mins. From there I was kept in the loop 100% of the process. Updates per day sometimes multiple per day. They turned a horrible experience by my wife getting rear ended in her Jeep to a good experience. I even got the car back earlier than expected. I am very anal when it comes to my cars and after inspecting the car when I picked it up, it looked better than new. My car was fully cleaned inside and out before I picked up the finished product. If you are looking for a stress free way to deal with a crashed car, do yourself the favor and contact Melissa at Sunken Meadow ASAP. I'm in the car business and have dealt with many. I will absolutely tell all my family and friends about this amazing place. Thank you guys for all the hard work! It's good to know places like this still exist.
