Incompetence, I have a package that sitting at this post office for days and for some reason they refuse to send it. The United States postal service across the country is nothing but a big failure. And nobody takes accountability. The USPS needs to be restructured. They need to hire people that actually want to work. And have a better delivery system, then just letting mail and packages sit in their warehouses for days on end. Don't even get me going about experiences of people not getting letters till 2 years later, or even as long as 50 years.

One of my packages had gone missing, and I stopped by just four minutes before closing, fully expecting to be turned away! Instead, the manager went above and beyond. She took the time to open whatever she needed to and made sure I got the answers I was looking for. She was kind, professional, and incredibly determined to help. Thanks to her efforts, she was able to track down where the package was. It was then delivered to my house the next business day! It's not often you see that level of care and follow-through. Huge thank you to the manager and the team for turning a frustrating situation into a great customer service experience!

I’ve had unpleasant experiences at the USPS location in Commack. The staff are consistently rude and unhelpful, and unfortunately, the supervisor’s attitude is even worse. It’s disappointing to see this level of customer service at a government facility that so many people rely on. I hope improvements are made in how they treat the public.

My fiancé went here to drop off our wedding invitations and we had a horrible experience with a male worker here (June 3rd at around 1215) after asking him to hand cancel our invitations. He said “they all go through the machine anyway” and refused to cancel them or even allow us to do it ourselves. When we said that the other post office had let us he responded “go there then” he was rude nasty, unprofessional and literally refused to do his job and told us to go somewhere else. Horrible experience!!

Great service and really friendly staff—everyone I've interacted with has been super helpful! Just one small thing: the self-service is advertised as 24 hours, but it's not accessible during off-hours since the lobby is usually locked. Would be awesome if there was a way to access it after hours. Otherwise, a great experience overall!
