Pulled my dogs two prescriptions from CVS to Rite-aid two years ago for convenience. Because one of my dogs prescription is a controlled substance, pharmacist would not fill the prescription until the full 30 days was taken. Today, 1/10/23, I called to have it refilled and listened to a recording, this rite-aid has permanently closed and all prescriptions were electronically sent to CVS! CVS at 977 Jericho tpke, Commack. Called that CVS to have prescription filled and told because it's a controlled substance, the prescription cannot be accepted electronically! Pharmacist also told me, they don't have that substance on hand and has to order it AFTER I bring in a noted prescription from our vet! In other words, my dog is going two full days if not more without her medication! Shame on BOTH

This store is the best ever. The employees at the front counter are so helpful. One employee went out of his way to assist me in finding everything that I wanted. I am a Gold Status member which means I get 20% Off in store items. More people should check out this review and visit this store. I think you'll enjoy it. The Associates are friendly and are willing to help in anyway that they can. One of the assistant store managers is also very great. They have been there for a long time. I commend the team for all their hard work especially in this urgent time of need. Service workers should not go unnoticed and especially when they do a good job. Please visit this store and see what offers you get in store with the Rewards program that they offer here.

This is by far the best pharmacy staff I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. (Congrats to joe) They go above and beyond. Always have and I know them for years. From Jenn and Cindy, and floaters, are so patient and kind. Always answer my many questions and I know they genuinely care. And thank you to them for ALL they have done for me and mom, and their compassion when mom left. Thank you to the pharm staff. Even during these scary times, these professionals have not changed.

The pharmacy staff is so beyond rude. If you hate your job that much then why do it? They are miserable people and if you question them at all they are so rude right back to you. Usually they can't answer any questions. I am a pharm tech so I know how difficult it can be to work with customers but this staff who has been working there for a long time need to leave
