Wow! This is a lovely campground with plenty of play space (and equipment) for kids and dogs and BOTH are welcome here. Family owned, beautifully kept, large camp store, clean pool and laundry facilities. Better than the scenery is the owner/operator, Miranda. You will not find a more friendly, more accommodating owner! Thank you, Ms. Stocking!

We spent 4th of July weekend at Deer Run Campground and it was absolutely perfect! There was a great lineup of events—a DJ, a fun cornhole tournament, delicious food trucks, and a friendly potluck. The campground was clean, well-maintained, and our site was both awesome and quiet, even with all the festivities going on. The camp store was also super convenient—they had everything you might need in case you forgot something. It had just the right balance of fun and relaxation. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We had an amazing stay at this campground — it truly exceeded all expectations! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and so well cared for. Whether you're looking to relax under the stars, enjoy a quiet morning coffee with nature, or make lasting memories around the campfire, this place has it all.
The campsites were spacious and clean, and the amenities were thoughtfully designed. You can tell a lot of heart has gone into making this place special. The Stocking family has created a beautiful campground. It felt like staying with family — warm, welcoming, and just the right mix of rustic and comfortable.
Highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and connect with the outdoors. We will definitely be back! 🌲🖤🍻

This campground is by far the best around! The staff is incredible. They are so friendly, helpful and a joy to interact with! The campground is beautiful and also has a great pool and play area for the kids! Also the store has some of the coolest items! They offer your essentials you may need because you forgot something at home or maybe if you ran out. They have freeze dried candy (super fun for the kiddos) and a great beverage selection (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). There’s a nice arcade to occupy the kids when you want to take a break from the outdoor fun. I highly recommend Cooperstown Deer Run Campground! Such an amazing family environment with a beautiful property!

NOT pet friendly or outsider friendly… when someone posts signs to not let your dog pee on their lot and verbally tell you as well while they have 2 good size dogs fenced in same area!! When asked campground owners about policy they defended said person’s actions…we ended our stay 4 days early and went to a true people and pet friendly campground…it was a much nicer place and setup as well.

Beautiful, well kept park with wide spaces between sites. Beautiful countryside setting. Owner is a great guy and very helpful. Great place to relax. Nice pool and facilities

We arrived in the rain. Grounds were saturated but we were given a site that could have been worst. Mother nature can't be controlled. Staff was VERY helpful, pleasant & had great suggestions for our first visit to Cooperstown. As we traveled from NH, she even took time to call us fir our EYA & suggestions on an easy route to travel. She gets a 10. I highly recommend this csmpground. We have no regrets. Thank you

I highly recommend this peaceful, quiet, clean and well maintained RV Park located a few miles from Cooperstown, NY. - in the beautiful countryside. Sites are level, spacious and include a picnic table & fire ring. This is a well run family owned and operated park. Melinda welcomed us and was so helpful with her knowledge of all the things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again. We are traveling in a 25’ trailer & truck - the space was more than enough room.

Okay place to stay, but nothing special.Was staying in June 2023 for ~ $1000, but for month of August increased to ~ $1500 ???… So, I found better place to stay for another 4 months until my wife’s contract ends.

Very well kept, clean, tidy campground. Level sites with easy hookups in excellent condition. The staff was very helpful and friendly. A quiet, relaxing place to camp.

Beautiful campground and super friendly staff! They had a band while we were there and a chicken BBQ. The band played for several hours and sounded really great. The pool was freezing but we can't complain (it was memorial day weekend in upstate NY). Would definitely stay here again!
