The White House Inn is a homey and comfortable bed and breakfast in an excellent location. It is an easy walk to Otsego Lake, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and downtown Cooperstown restaurants. Guests describe their stays as lovely, peaceful, and perfect. The staff is consistently noted as super nice, friendly, helpful, and accommodating, creating a welcoming feeling. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with some featuring antique furnishings and old wood flooring that add character. Specific rooms, like the Carriage House, offer privacy, while others may experience road noise. The breakfast is very good, delicious, and different each day. While the historic building means some rooms may have temperature quirks or noise, the overall experience is very enjoyable. The Inn is also a practical choice for visitors to nearby Bassett Hospital. Many guests express that they did not want to leave and look forward to returning.

Always have a lovely stay at the White House Inn. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and a lovely, simple breakfast. While nothing too fancy, our annual stay is always lovely.

Ed and everyone at The White House Inn made our stay very enjoyable. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great and Ed was a great host. The location is very walkable to downtown Cooperstown, including the National Baseball Hall of Fame. We look forward to returning again in the future. Thanks again for a great stay.
