There is one employee in particular whom we know only as DAVE. Seven years ago (seems like yesterday) I had the good fortune to ask the guy at the checkout for help. I was in kit-form. My wife was still in the hospital and had just gotten out of ICU. I had no clue as to what I was doing and needed help. Dave intervened, helped me get everything on the list my wife had made and made sure I had it all together before leaving. The guy was nothing less than TERRIFIC . Since then Dave has always been our contact, if you will, at Price Chopper. He is a caring , sincere and thoughtful rep of Price Chopper and his manner is a most welcome addition to the Cooperstown staff. Price Chopper is truly lucky to have him , and I should've written this long ago. Never too late!Louise K.

Central NY is a culinary dead zone. That said, trying to find good meat, seafood and my NY favorites and staples is made even more frustrating when just getting into this store is like an obstacle course. First you fight to get through all the people exiting a single width door, then you squeeze through a space separating the self checkout and walls of beer, stacks of sale canned items and other displays. Every time I buymeat there I am disappointed. The one time I bought the already cooked lobster in the case, it was spoiled. It's Christmas, where's the panatone, and I don't mean one with chocolate chips!!! If there's snow in the parking lot, you'll have a great time pushing your full cart uphill and out of potholes. And for a final punch in the gut, they don't have Hagen das ! Oh the humanity!

Very convenient. Open 24 hours. Has self checkout as well as regular cashiers. Has motor carts.
