Horrible experience. First time I use them and the last time. I came in last night to pick up my daughter’s prescription from them to only give me one of the two prescription that were given in by my doctor. Then they tell me they are waiting on my insurance to approve which happens to be all the sudden approved when I asked about the other prescription but they were closing and unable to fulfill. I come in the next day to pick it up because I received a text saying it was ready and their system is down and ask me to come back in an hour. I come back in an hour and their system is still down. Now my daughter is in extreme pain with no meds because they can’t do anything about transferring it somewhere else or giving me the ready prescription until who knows when the system will be up again.

Been here a few time and service is fine for English speaking people. But they do need MORE bi lingual or trilingual service representatives that work the front working with the public. I was there a few weeks ago and saw an old couple struggling who did not speak English and service representative did NOTHING!!! It's disgusting that the service rep didn't even attempt to try to google translate for the couple. Copiague is a predominantly Hispanic/diverse community and Cvs needs to do a better job at HIRING bi-lingual or tri-lingual service representatives. Or even something as simple as google translating for a patient through your phone, everyone has a phone. Also this will help Cvs at making lines run faster and efficiently. Please CVS Hire bi lingual or tri-lingual people ONLY!!! I know that there's people who apply that are bi lingual being that we are in a diverse community.

TLDR: MANAGER IS RACISTWell. I used to like this pharmacy a lot because it was super convenient. However, today I went to the counter to pick up a prescription and I was rudely interrupted by the manager "Nicole" who asked me if I spoke English. I was kind of shocked by this question since I had spoken to the other pharmacist in English and she was within Earshot. She then made a face in disgust and stated "this is birth control" -- as if I didn't know what I was picking up ? She then proceeded to explain why I shouldn't be on the medication and asked if my doctors knew if I would be on it (where else would I have gotten the prescription?) I explained I had taken it under it's non-generic title for 5 years with no issue. She rolled her eyes then walked away. The fact that she expected us to not be able to speak English because we look racially ambiguous (mixed race) is racist and disgusting. I'm moving all of my prescriptions immediately to another location.

I went there Monday August 9. The staff that helped me were extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. I’m glad I went there.
