My car found itself submerged in an unexpected flash flood, the water rising perilously to the level of the front seats, creating a dire situation that left me feeling anxious about its fate. After making multiple attempts to revive it with a battery jump, to no avail, I decided it was best to have it towed to Leonel Auto Repair. The tow truck driver, who had just assisted five other vehicles from the same inundated parking area, expressed his reservations about the likelihood of my car being salvageable, which only added to my growing concern.
Leonel, on the other hand, is not just any mechanic; he is a Master Mechanic endowed with skills reminiscent of a modern-day MacGyver, characterized by his ingenious problem-solving abilities and an unwavering commitment to getting the job done right. I was absolutely astounded by his ability to take my 18-year-old vehicle, which had logged only 88,000 miles but had succumbed to the unforgiving depths of floodwaters, and painstakingly restore it to functional life.
His meticulous approach involved a series of innovative steps; he hand-cranked the motor to assess whether the engine was still salvageable, a risky yet determined maneuver that demonstrated his deep understanding of automotive mechanics. Additionally, he drained an impressive 1.5 gallons of water from the crankcase—an essential step in ensuring the engine components were not irreparably damaged by the flood.
The blend of his exceptional skills, relentless pride in his work, and an admirable work ethic culminates in results that are nothing short of extraordinary. I am incredibly grateful for Leonel’s expertise and commitment to his craft, which transformed a moment of despair into a triumphant recovery for my vehicle. The Leonel mechanic shop is the perfect shop to take your car. They’re open to opinions and great at diagnostic work. I appreciate their kindness and they also let you know straight forward about what was done on your car and their time spent on it. There prices are fair and great people. This was the first mechanic I've been too that did the work correctly, he corrected all the other mistakes other mechanics did. His prices are not too bad for the great quality work he does. I highly recommend. He will be my only mechanic from now, trust me.

I had the son (Leon) replace Brakes,rotors,& Calipers.Change oil,inspection,wipers Front & Back,top off fluids (no charge) gr8 job,explained everything he did & I had it the next Day! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Left Car very clean.

Always there when needed, I'm always in the loop and he shows you what he found so you dont feel like your being taken advantage of. I know for a fact that he recommends OEM parts on the cars he works on, he always says from the start that he doesn't like to use third party parts cause he know it won't last. So far I havnt had any issue for the last 10 years on any of my cars that he worked on.

I have been using Leonel for over 20 years never did anything that didn’t need to be fixed and always treated me with respect and gave great advice on what to do and when to fix it and when not to fix it stands behind his work????

Went for an oil change & tire rotation got home looked at my truck found greasy hand prints on the finders and hood ,fluids wasn't topped off..before finding all this on my truck, I asked for a price on some work on another vehicle no call back still.not happy wont be good back to them and will not recommend anyone else
