The new ownership leaves much to be desired. No OJ or salt packets with bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I ordered my eggs OVER MEDIUM. I said it TWICE. The person who took my order repeated OVER MEDIUM to me. Does this look like OVER MEDIUM eggs?
I recently moved to Coram from the Ronkonkoma/Nesconset area. I frequented my local Handy Pantry and never had a complaint. This particular Handy Pantry is unlike any deli/grocer I have ever been to. Every single time I have ordered from there, whether it be delivery or in store, the order has been wrong. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I ordered a $8.08 bacon, eggs over medium and cheese on a roll. No extra cheese, no extra bacon, no extra nothing. Just a run of the mill $4.00-$5.00 BEC over medium on a roll. What was delivered to me was well done eggs, extra cheese and burnt, hard to chew bacon. I took one bite and threw my $8.00 breakfast sandwich in the garbage. It wasn't edible. Never again. I've had this happen well over 4-5 times. This time I learned my lesson. Totally disappointed Handy Pantry, the name Handy Pantry was a name I trusted. I hope the owner of this establishment is aware of what's going on. I hope he reads the reviews his former customers post on line.

It is so hard to find younger generation folks that are number one as respectful as these fellas were and then yet able to cook an egg sandwich to perfection following direction. We are so used to accepting subpar behavior that we are blown away when someone exceeds the way these young men just did with a simple egg sandwich Asked for egg sandwich over medium with a slice of cheese, salt and pepper opened it up and into my surprise, absolute perfect perfection

I really wanted this place to work out because it's right around the corner from my house. I can't tell you how many times I bought something and it already expired. Plus when they have a sale appetized as soon as you get to the register you have to actually watched it. Because you won't get the sale. I pointed out to the guy, he mentioned it to the owner. The owner responded to his employee if they catch it we have to honor the sale price. He said the right in front of me. I was amazed

Handy Pantry reminds me of the *Good old days" where you felt valued and appreciated as a customer. It has that hometown feeling where people are smiling and genuinely happy to help. Corams my favorite, but I never walked into a Handy Pantry where I wasn't met with kindness. Love Handy Pantry!!
