“I don't have much experience with Flying J, but if I'm around the Pembroke area I know I'm in trouble. Ask me why, and the answer is a corn dog:). Flying J deflowered me by offering my first ever corn dog. I tried it and loved it. The quality is consistent, too. With just the perfect amount of dough and a surprisingly decent sized, not horrible tasting hot dog, it's a fun snack.Since that first time, I had two more sausages on a stick from the same location. They sell corn dogs packed in pairs, so it's great for sharing. You won't find them at the front where all food is available. The hot dogs and sausages station is located at the back. Condiments are also available on the way back to the cashiers. I used mustard. The service is always nice and efficient.”

“I've recently been spending more time in Akron, and was pleasantly surprised that they had a decent, newly modeled Rite Aid. The store itself is spacious, stocked well (a few bare shelves due to the current covid19) but that is to be expected. They have a whole back section of GNC items, that are priced about the same as Amazon, or the GNC website. I thought maybe they'd be cheaper, or at least have some sort of deal on them, but no, they are the exact same price. They seemingly have a great variety of items that are not GNC as well, that have BOGO sales, but when you're looking for two of the same item, it falls short. The higher prices supplements you'll have to ask for assistance on, as they usually have the empty box on the shelf, with you having to get a employee to bring you the actual bottle. Maybe they have lots of theft? I'm not too sure. The store really falls short in their clearance section, it's just an end cap with everything in baskets thrown together. Things are grossly opened, leakage, and most items weren't even a good deal. The $1 deals section is also a disappointment, its located on a random aisle, in the food section. It wasn't even the full aisle, just a small space. At other large locations, Rite Aid will have a whole long aisle dedicated to everything $1. It's a great spot in the store, especially for cheap items that you're only using once, or for little snacks. The middle of the store you'll find the HBA section, I haven't browsed through as it's not particularly my interest of things, but it's well lighted, and monitored by many cameras. (Lol)”
