This campground is so beautiful, relaxing and its proximity to the town of Saratoga Springs and Lake George is perfect. Been there the last two Springs and it was wonderful. The staff were so accommodating and truly lovely. Can’t wait to go back!

We recently rented an RV space and cottage for family members while we were attending a wedding near by. We had no issues with the RV site but had a few with the cottage. Lets just say it all dealt with cleanliness. We contacted the office immediately and they sent staff to deal with the issues almost immediately. We had no other issues while there. We did take the time to discuss our issues with office staff when leaving. They said the would pass along to a manager, but as luck would have it the General Manager over heard our conversation. He took the time to listen to our concerns and apologized for our inconvenience. Even after our departure he followed up with emails and phone calls. This is the type of customer service that makes we want to return even tough there were issues and plenty of other choices out there.

This place is amazing. The park is so well maintained and The people are so friendly that work here. They have a restaurant and bar with wonderful food. They have propane and firewood. We were here after labor day and they still had activities. Lots to do in the area and Saratoga Springs is right around the corner.

I’ve been coming to Alpine Lake since 1976 and have been a seasonal camper since 2002. It has gone through a lot of changes in that time. Some good, some not. But the best change has been Justin, the Social Events Coordinator. Justin has planned lots of fun activities for both kids and adults. Kayak races, candy bar and lottery ticket BINGO, wine tasting, paint and sip, food trucks and vendors, movies nights, bands, DJs, themed weekends, you name it. He has made camp so fun and has provided lots of entertainment. We look forward to what he will do next year.

I mean I brought my own room so idk how to rate that. Justin has completely changed the vibe of the campground and has made it so fun every weekend. I actually look forward to the activities on the weekends. Also Adam and Barb down at the food shack make such great food and are so welcoming. Sometimes I think they’re the only reason I eat a vegetable while here.

We stayed twice one wood site and one water. Water site smaller but great view. nice clean sites. Lots of family fun. Loved the friendly staff, snack bar was nice. One draw back lack of hot water at showers. Beach and pool maintained nicely.

Absolutely gorgeous property, beautifully maintained, and every single person on staff who we encountered was friendly, helpful, accommodating and professional. We were supposed to be here 5 days, and between a malfunction with our RV and a badly botched reservation at another campground, we've been here 7...Mike was so helpful in alleviating our stress by allowing us to extend our stay. It meant the world.Highly recommend Alpine Lake!

This campground is awful. Paid for an "elite" site. It was anything but that. The campground is dirty with garbage in the lake. The sites are on top of each other making it difficult to hook up and unhook from your truck. They have huge septic issues with alarms going off. Called to let them know with no call back to date (we're home already). That was a week ago. One camper in our group had no septic for the week and we had to fight them to pump out at their expense since we were to have full hook ups. Just awful. Never again!

I have been going to Alpine Lake since the early 90's, when they had Alpie and Woody, the dinosaur statues and the forest animal covered garbage truck. I now bring my own children because it is a great, safe place for families. As a child, I utilized their tent sites, then upgraded to RV sites by the lake. Now, I stay with my 8 and 7 year old in a cabin. I gave the accommodation four stars only because we stayed in thecabin and our carbon monoxide detector went off two nights in a row. The first night at 11pm, which we just reset and ignored. My children were a little scared, but overall we slept with the windows opened and thought nothing of it. The second night, the carbon monoxide detector went off at 4:15am and we didn't ignore it. The local fire department and ems came within 8 minutes and made sure we were safe. They were also quiet so as to not disturb the sleeping campers around us. The staff at Alpine Lake made sure we were ok and gave us free items for the remainder of our trip to accommodate us. We would have liked a few nights off or a credit for next summer as we return every August. Overall though, the resort is amazing and Justin, the activities director, really provides a fun experience for everyone each weekend. We can't wait to go back next August!

We stayed for a week here with our thousand trails membership. Our first assigned site was too small for our rig but they quickly moved us to another spot. The staff was excellent to work with and most accommodating. The park has lots of amenities and activities including a restaurant on site and hiking trails. We will come again.

This has to be one of the worst campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at. First direction to our site were terrible. Sites are way to close together hard to park a larger Rv a seasonal site have rocks right to the rode. The site it self was terrible pad was cracked all over fire pits was a rim with burnt boards around it and wasn’t well maintained at all. Power to the pole had issues and we couldn’t run two air conditioner. As far as the whole campgrounds is concerned showers are cold. seasonal campers are very rude and they acted like they own the park and think they ownnthe roads with their golf cart. I could go on but need to put this in the pass would never recommend this place even to my worst enemy.
