They shut all of the other locations down now it takes 25-30 mins to go threw the drive thru everytime I will be looking for a different bank they clearly have too many customers

I love this bank. Giving the Executioner Bar and Grill (LOL!) a new business construction loan and having them blame you guys for them not getting approved by a separate board for not having enough (none) experience in the restaurant business. Amazing. Smart. You guys are awesome. The last thing this town needs is those 2 questionable individuals running a place that serves food and alcohol. You have done a great service to the entire community and now you can go ahead and hopefully quickly foreclose on them and sell the building they spent so much money on repairs to a more qualified individual/firm who can actually generate income with it.I feel their open discussion about your bank and calling your actions into question as deceptive might call for a cease and desist as your bank did what it was supposed to do. Hopefully they don’t do anything crazy..One of them has quite a lengthy rap sheet…

Worst bank ever! Very difficult to do business with. My primary bank is Chemung canal, small local bank, never an issue. I also have a shared account with Elmira savings bank that was unfortunately purchased by community. I deposit a portion of my paycheck into this shared account now owned by community. My name is not on the account. Do not get me wrong, I appreciate the security measures and do not argue with employees. However, I can validate 100% that my money goes into this account, have signed documents,etc and they always refuse to cash checks. The excuse is they cannot discuss it with me however funds are 100% in the account I can even access the online account to verify. This was never an issue when it was ESB as they were local and we all knew each other. This bank is not user friendly and I suggest you look at other options of you are opening a new account. I will be discussing a change with the other account holder so that we can avoid future headaches ourselves. I should also mention I don't think half of the employees understand that they purchased ESB and as far as I am aware ESB checks are still valid at community bank. Local banking is still better!

My card information was compromised and Community Bank wouldn’t refund the full amount. Their policy is they can only go back 6 months. So no matter the amount, they supposedly tell you there’s nothing they can do. I can not wait for this dispute to finish so I can close my account with this bank.

Nothing worse than a lazy bank. They take weeks to process Realestate checks. They have a plethora of antiquated if not asinine policies regarding spending limits etc. The customer support barely exists and what little sliver of support that does exist is dilapidated at best. A completely worthless bank from the ground to the roof. You are better off stuffing your money in a sock drawer than subjecting yourself to the feckless bumbling of this wretched excuse for a bank.

I opened a checking account with them, it was friendly and pleasant, everyone seems chipper and outgoing, and everytime I've came into the bank, which is frequently, it has always been a true pleasure. Thank You.
