My husband and I have a trip to Europe coming up in less than a week. My passport arrived at this postal office over a month ago and they lost it, nobody seems to know where it is. Now we have to drive for 4 hours to New Hampshire to get an emergency passport. I feel so disappointed and stressed, worst experience of my life.

There’s a woman there that works on the counter and is extremely rude and nasty. Very disrespectful and won’t go there again.

I've never had a problem at this post office. The clerks are courteous and knowledgeable. I know when the regular clerks retired, there were a lot of problems for others, but I never had an issue.

Makes a good case for abolishing the Postal Service. I’ve had the poor judgment to go here 5 times over the past decade. They are certainly consistent. I have been to many Post offices in many states. This location is one of the worst.

I wish I could rate this branch 0 stars. This branch has one of the nastiest women of all the USPS. There is a woman who works the counter, that is extremely rude and nasty to customers. When you call the postmaster general and the cornwall branch of the post office to make a complaint you never can get anything other than a recording. Very sad what has become of the USPS, but it is nice to see that the cornwall brach may be closing soon.

My experience at the Cornwall Post Office was very interesting. Let me just start out by saying that I was able to more than accomplish what I had set out to do. I went to the Cornwall Post Office purely to make an appointment to update my passport. After working my phone, and going on the Internet, it was so frustrating just trying to make an appointment that I drove the 2 and a 1/2 miles to the Post Office. When I got there I was told I had to make an appointment online and after trying to do that again, I was told that the mail clerk whose name I believe was Ms Griffith, was going to help me with the process. I was grateful. What I can say is that we were able to get my passport sent out for renewal, which was ultimately my main goal. While I was not actually disrespected fully, the line was toed very closely. Many times I felt like I was being treated like a recalcitrant child because I did not understand the process and instead of explaining it to me I was just helped along with every step, questions were not appreciated. I wasn't really upset with the way I was being spoken to because I was getting the job done and she was helping me every step of the way. By the time we were nearing the end of the process I just started laughing because of the way this was going down. It got to the point where I think she realized how she was speaking to me because she became much more animated (instead of exasperated) in the way she was showing me what needed to be put into the envelope and mailed out to the government. She treated me like a child but I did not care because she was making it idiot proof. We got the job done and I left smiling about the whole thing. I would like to thank Ms. Griffith for helping me so comprehensively and I would also like to thank Dan who tries to keep a light hearted atmosphere in that little post office. Is this a good review or a bad? It's up to you, but let me just say this Post Office knows their stuff and I WOULD go back there with no reservation.

Came in for a Passport renewal after mines expired. Service was great. Dan was the clerk who assisted me and he helped me every step of the way. Definitely appreciated his assistance.
