The staff are very nice and friendly. The variety of food was definitely great and the taste itself is good. I had the bandera which is a dish that consists of four typical Ecuadorian food: Guatita, encebollado, seco de pollo and ceviche de camarón. It came with both white and yellow rice which I thought was great because some of those dishes go with white rice and the others need the yellow rice. The fact that they know that was stupendous for me. My daughter had the llapingacho which is her favorite dish and they did not disappoint. Looking forward to coming here for breakfast when they serve bolon. All in all it was a great experience and I enjoyed the small convo I was able to have with whom I believe is the owner of the place. It gave me a nice insight about the restaurant and the appreciation he has towards the food and representing each province in Ecuador.Kid-friendliness: I appreciated that they also engaged conversation with my kids and were friendly and patient with them as well.

Because they add fat to the onions and the lemons are already rotten, apart from a lot of onions ? change the onions!

Super disappointed with this place. My mom and I were looking forward to eating here since the reviews were looking promising and we were just excited to try a new Ecuadorian restaurant. From the start we knew this will go downhill. My mom was never greeted at the entrance and had to ask for a table herself. Upon sitting down we noticed the music was obnoxiously loud which was unfortunate because it made it difficult to converse. I arrive to the establishment and also noticed the music was fairly loud and also asked if could be brought down just a tad. The waitress unwelcoming said I can go get another table but it’ll be just as loud. I asked kindly once again also if I could get another table because where we were sat was very cold. She looked like we were causing her an inconvenience and rolled her eyes as she was telling me to go check the back of the restaurant to see if that’s better for me but that it will be just as loud but warmer. At this point I was disappointed with the service but decided to still try the food since we had gone out our way to get there and we really were looking forward to it. We wanted to order several items off the menu and drinks but were so turned off by the whole interaction I just ordered what felt safe to order. I also asked for water but was never suggested tap or bottled. She brought a bottled water which tap would’ve been fine once again didn’t complain since I already felt like I was causing the waitress an inconvenience. Food was very underwhelming and bland. Presentation was beautiful but flavor was lacking abundantly. I would also like to add that the portion was very small and did not reflect the price. As an Ecuadorian myself this disappoints me because I know the potential our food has and this was not a good representation. Overall this restaurant was very disappointing most importantly the service was subpar and I felt like I was causing an inconvenience. We were looking forward to trying many items and we were just turned off by the whole thing.

This restaurant could easily earn 5 stars but what it sorely lacks is a sense of urgency in service. The tables are always empty without cutlery or napkins. You have to be behind the employees asking for the basics. Also the wait for food is 45 minutes or more, and I have seen people leave after a long wait. Today I returned with my family who are visiting me from ECUADOR and we ordered empanadas and humitas to accompany the coffee. They didn't have anything as a breakfast appetizer on a SATURDAY at 11 in the morning. Instead they offered us guacamole to start... but we declined. Even so, we always return because the food is excellent, as well as the atmosphere, but you have to prioritize the service as well as the quality of the food.

I'm Ecuadorian and the food here is like home cooked. I had the Guatita which comes served with Rice, Maduros, and Avocado. The food was piping hot. My wife ordered Frita which was cooked perfectly, not greasy and moist. It came with Mote, Fava beans y tostado. We also had the encebollado which was amazing! If you are ever in the mood for Ecuadorian food this is THE spot in Queens.Parking: Free After 7pm

I have come many times in the past and have always had a good experience. This occasion was an exception. A young waitress named Lady, charged 15% gratuity on 2 people. (Which has not been an issue as we have always tipped 20% in the past) but we seemed it bold to charge a gratuity when the service was not exceptional. Our waitress forgot to put in our soup order, we had told her the shrimp ceviche was not good and there was a misunderstanding with the dessert order. Which, by the way, if there is an “&” symbol it is and not an “o” for or. The menu should be fixed to avoid future misunderstandings. Servers should be trained to know what is legal to charge and what is not.

Nice service and atmosphere but the food is very bland. Lacks a lot of flavor. I’m not the only one saying that. Many reviewers mention that. To be great I think you need to re-evaluate things. And it’s possible the cooks in the back aren’t passionate about cooking or just needs to re-adjust the seasoning and cooking process. I’ve made encebollado and guatita and I was pretty disappointed with the lack of flavor in the plates here. What makes encebollado special is the starch from cooking the yuca for extended period of time. In this plate, the yuca was way undercooked so the umami essence of the yuca never made it to the dish. Also, it’s called encebollado for a reason: there was hardly any onion in my bowl. Lastly, the guatita lacked seasoning. Something as simple as tasting as you go and adding salt would be of great benefit Or using a well balanced sofrito in the initial cooking process.

During my travels in New York, I stumbled upon Leticia's, and it turned out to be a delightful culinary discovery. This cozy restaurant exudes a warm and inviting ambiance that instantly made me feel at home.As I perused the menu, the array of dishes caught my eye, offering a fusion of flavors that piqued my interest. I was particularly impressed with their selection of wholesome salads that showcased a beautiful variety of fresh ingredients and vibrant colors. The standout of the evening was the attentive and friendly waitress, Margot. Her genuine enthusiasm and knowledge about the menu were commendable. Margot's recommendations were spot-on, guiding me to some of the restaurant's best salads.I opted for one of their signature salads, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The ingredients were clearly sourced with care, and the salad was a delightful medley of textures and tastes that left me fully satisfied. The only reason I didn't give Leticia's a full five stars is that the service was a bit slow, especially during peak hours. However, the delicious salads and Margot's warm hospitality more than made up for it.In conclusion, Leticia's offers a wholesome culinary journey with its enticing variety of salads and cozy ambiance. If you find yourself in New York and craving a refreshing and delicious salad, I highly recommend stopping by Leticia's and indulging in their flavorful offerings. With Margot's excellent service and the delightful salads, you're sure to have an enjoyable time.

Amazing food and flavors. It’s my to go place in Corona for work meetings,Sometimes, it bothers me that the waiters are not fluent with the knowledge of the plates or ingredients, but when the owner is there, he elevates the atmosphere of the place to another level.
