The New York Hall of Science, affectionately known as NYSCI, is a dynamic science museum located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, New York City. Housed in one of the few remaining structures from the 1964 New York World’s Fair, NYSCI stands as the city’s only hands-on science and technology center. With over 400 interactive exhibits, it focuses on biology, chemistry, and physics, aiming to make STEM education accessible and exciting for all. NYSCI is not just a museum; it’s a vibrant educational hub that hosts workshops, such as the Congressional App Design Challenge, and has been recognized with the 2023 National Science Board Science and Society Award.

Best MUSEUM EVER! Have been coming here my whole life and I can't stress enough how awesome it is! Even if you don't really enjoy science it's wicked to come and explore you'll defintely find at least one exhibit that you'll enjoy. It's super interactive which I loved. It's great for kids there's an outdoor olplayground too. There's also a cafeteria . What I wish they could do is make it more affordable because it's kinda expensive to be honest. It can also get pretty crowded.

There was barely any science. What happened?! I used to love this place. If you go during the community hours (free on Fri 2pm - 5pm), some exhibits will be closed. I will say that I will be back w my kiddo during the summer to try the mini golf and playground. But that's only because he wants to try it.

Was fun....during the school day though, schools come in. If you have little ones be careful. Has a small food court. Very pricey $$$.Bottom level has centers. Children can build things. Second level a little different from what it use to be. Third level had a small skating area, big connect four and foam blocks. There are some other areas to explore.

Took the littlies on an adventure to the NY Hall of Science. Great place for ages 2-12. My girls had a blast in the preschool area as well as the main exhibits. I was sad to see a bunch of exhibits were closed but I understand the outdoor exhibits weren't available because of the weather. The Big Bubble Experiment & Connected Worlds were a huge hit for the kids and the adults, they were very hands-on but very clean for my fellow germaphobes. The Powering the City, Human Plus and Small Discoveries exhibits were interesting but I wish there were wipe stations to clean the phones that provide the audible info about the stations. Design Lab & Maker Space were awesome, you can enjoy them for about 20min each station and they clean between each group, the caveat is you may have to wait up to 30min for stations to open up. Overall a great experience, they only lost a star because of the 3 exhibits that are incubators for germs

I absolutely love this place. I worked as an Explainer while in college and after, brought my kids there often, they loved it! My favorite was doing the Cow's Eye dissection & the Microbes.

We got through the entire place in 2 hours. For the price I was expecting to be able to spend the day there. My son who is 10 and loves science seemed bored half the time. Not a lot to do and exhibits haven’t been updated since I went as a kid 30 years ago. No mention of the internet, no new inventions, no chemistry, geology, biology or astronomy. Skip this place.

Fun place to take the children where they can build, play, explore, learn and become little scientists. The Italian panini from the café was delicious. The bubbles exhibit was perfectly hands on. It seemed like it was crowded at first because of a school trip but then it cleared out around 1pm and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We visited on a weekday which also made it more calm in terms of crowds. We became members because it pays for itself in 1-2 visits depending on which activities you partake in.I don't recommend the skating if it isn't included as it is synthetic and hard to maneuver on, but nonetheless the games like connect 4 around the rink were fun to play with my children when they became frustrated by the "ice."Overall a very hands on, very fun place for adults and children alike.

I wish I had known this is only for children! It’s a very small space even though you can get confused. Not a lot of exhibitions and some of them are obsolete. The tickets are so expensive compared to other museums that are completely worth it. The name is also too big “New York Hall of Science” for what it actually is. I feel I have wasted my time here ?

This is a very good location for parents, grandparents, or a child care giver to bring the kids out to enjoy a day of experiencing something new and different. This museum has a lot to offer those curious minds that kids have. They will enjoy the interaction experience. It let's them be a part of it. They have inside and outside things for the kids. This location has a large parking lot. They have a cafeteria and a gift shop also. I recommend that you experience a fun day with the little ones in your life.

It is an adventure for kids and families. I went there to support Maritza Guevara, a Peruvian designer supporting Lazos de Amor y Sonrisas foundation.
