These types of stores started to gain popularity in the early to mid 90s. They seemed to have stuck around through times that change and lasted to the rough economy that has taken over the neighborhood and the locals can appreciate stores that sell stuff for dirt cheap, even if the quality of it is cheap also. I love that I can get off brand items and pay next to nothing for them. I usually get nice cheap hardware to put up cables or picture frames from here with pretty good luck. In the summer months I search here for window fans that will not cost me more than $20. I will be coming back here for sure
