My visit was in June, so obviously there was no skiing. My work was having their yearly conference here, and it's an interesting place. I grew up in the Adirondack mountains, and the theme of this place is like a classic Adirondack lodge on steroids. But it's all pretty nice, even if it's a bit overdone.
That said, it's a cashless place, so make sure that you have your card on you in case you want to buy anything. Along that same vein, as much as the little convenience store sells Starbucks coffee, they don't take gift cards or the Starbucks app for payment.
The lodge itself shares a wall with the water park, so you can come and go straight from your room without going outside.
The rooms seem to be an odd mix, but that may be because the lodge is, at base, a timeshare establishment. Some rooms have connecting doors, some have balconies, and some have kitchenettes. Some of the rooms on the top floor have both balconies and kitchenettes, (gas) fireplaces, and an upstairs loft area.

Restaurant and bar on site a hit or miss with drink and entrée choices. Nowhere else nearby to eat. No microwave or refrigerator in rooms. Clean enough . No regular room service for more than one night stay. Lake grass way to high. Boats locked up and unable to use. Outside of hotel needs to be treated for carpenter bees.

Beautiful lodge with very nice and clean rooms for families especially teens. The Waterpark and arcade are not huge but fun for everyone.

I got bit up my something and there was kids running up and down the halls at midnight I told the front desk lady she did not care at all it was a terrible experience I have stayed here before but I do not plan to return and every time we go the kids play den area is closed and all the games they say they have for kids outside is always locked up so for 400 night wasn’t really worth access to only the outdoor pool when it was snowing

It's very pricey. But a good spot for the kids. With a few slides that are fun for adults and a pretty sweet indoor outdoor pool and hot tubFood & drinks: Not the best quality food. But gets the job done. Prices are stupid expensive

My family usually goes twice a year. The water park is wonderfully heated and so is the outdoor pool. Great entertainment, the mountain coaster is our favorite besides taking the lift to top of mountain in the fall to see the leaves change. The rooms at the hotel are clean, try to get a balcony it is beautiful! Shoppes and resturants are good. The only problem we had is a convention was there on our one trip we had drunk people knocking into us putting stuff on our table while we were eating and one night around 230 am a lady knocked at our door (we were there with elderly family celebrating our sons 10th bday husband thought it was them since they were having health issues opened door to a very drunk convention goer pushing past him screaming at the top of her lungs and started to strip her clothing off. He stood his ground got the half dressed woman out of the room where she continued to bang on our door. we called down to front desk and reported and did same in am they did nothing.

Stayed during 25-27 2 nights with family and left w mixed feeling.1. Reservation:We made a booking online after speaking with agents and received confirmation with the reserved rates. We also requested a follow-up on a spa reservation matter but never received a phone call. We were then charged a much higher price on my card and I needed to contact the reservation office, but to no avail (always on hold and no call back). This matter was raised at the front desk (Kyla?) and finally resolved. It was not a good start. The spa was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, and we were not able to get a spot after our check-in time at 4:00 on Monday.Ski check crew were nice and Rebecca tying to ease my feeling.2. Hot tub and pool:The day we checked in, the hot tub and pool closed at 19:00, and my husband and daughter, who arrived at 19:30, could not use them. Some hotel and water park receptionists said the closing hour was at 20:00, but it was actually 19:00. We were asked to return at 10:00 the next morning, as the pool and hot tub were supposed to be open from 10:00-20:00. This was not correct, as they were actually open from 11:00-20:00. My husband went at 11:00, but the hot tub was closed and he was asked to return at 14:00. He did so, but the hot tub was closed the entire day for maintenance until the next afternoon, making us unable to use it at all. Additionally, the water temperature of the pool was much lower than the previous night.3. Room make-up:We requested our room to be made up in the morning and asked Sharon to take note of it. My husband saw a housekeeper on our floor, so he left the room and waited in the lobby. When he returned, he found that the room had not been cleaned. We then had to ask McKenzie to arrange for a make-up service. We had to leave the room again during the service. (You must request the make up or your room never been cleaned)4. Overall:We initially wanted to stay at this lodge for a long term and we were at least happy as we did it. The hotel changed the rate as per my original booking confirmation, managed to change spa credits to general resort credits, and the water park manager gave us resort gift cards as compensation for tub issue on Monday. While these efforts rectified the situation to a certain degree, our expectations were much higher. I hope the hotel addresses these issues so we can have a much better experience in the future.

Great place to be in winters or summers middle of nowhere and away from crazy cities. Good rooms, relatively smaller indoor waterpark with additional price but still fun to be at. Lots of outdoor activities for summer and winters in the adventure park. You get 20% if do the activities the day you checkout. All in all a wonderful place. We did the campfire in winters and it was so much fun with smores.
