Everytime I come to TJ nails the staff is always so kind to me and especially my daughter who is four. Tonight I went in and got a great pedicure. And I had an issue that my nail had broken underneath my gel manicure. And my nail was basically about to pop off (my own doing). I went to a different salon and they stated they couldn’t do anything for me. I went to TJs and the manager was patient and worked with me to fix my nail. I would recommend this salon over any others their professional and caring to all their customers. Thank you!

The worst experience I've ever had. Pedicure took less than 15 and I have to go home and finish it. So sad!!!

So the girl that did my nails, she had a long dark blonde bob, her roots are a dark brown, had a pink smiley face button on her apron, she did amazing on my nails, but she kept touching my skin with the drills, would yank my arm towards her, sat on her phone, it wasn’t great

I’d like to start by saying that, in my opinion, the technicians at this salon do not seem to have the proper skill or experience when it comes to doing nails. Being from NYC, I’ve had many pedicures over the years and feel confident in recognizing when something is done incorrectly. During my visit, I requested a pedicure and was disappointed to find that my toenails were left noticeably uneven by nail technician “ Nana”. Midway through the service, the technician became visibly frustrated, abruptly stopped working on me, and began tending to another client—who, judging by her expression, was just as confused with her work. Despite my request for a French tip, the lines were uneven and slanted. Eventually, the technician gave up and applied a basic polish instead. Unfortunately, this was the worst nail salon experience I’ve had. I would not recommend this place to others.

Very disappointing first manicure. I figured that asking for a basic service would be a safe bet, but I regret going. It does not look as if the person I worked with even tried. There’s plenty of cuticle that could have been cut back, the nails weren’t cleaned off, so there’s tiny bumps all over the nail, and the polish has started cracking off not even 24 hours later. My fiancée talked about how good her experience was, but I don’t think I’ll ever come back. What was supposed to be self-care turned into a huge waste of time and money.

I had powder dipped nails done Saturday and they are breaking by monday. I've had powder dipped by other places and they last over 8 weeks. They have ruined what I've had done for months in one session. Never go here. Plus they would not fix them i had to pay again for poor workmanship. Never again.

Very Disappointed – Wish I Had Read the Reviews First
I typically don’t leave reviews, but I really felt the need to share this experience in hopes it helps others and maybe encourages some improvement. I’m extremely disappointed in the pedicure I received. From the moment it started, I had a bad feeling — and honestly, I almost walked out mid-service.
First red flag: I had to turn on my own massage chair. Then, my feet weren’t even soaked before the technician started using the electric tool on my dry toes and cuticles There was one quick stroke on each heel with the pumice scrubber, and that was it — my feet still have visible rough patches. The nail trimming was sloppy, with no proper filing to clean things up. The polish job? Just as bad — uneven and rushed.
The hot towel at the end left white fuzz all over my legs and feet, and the technician didn’t bother to remove them. It was the smallest effort I’ve ever seen put into a pedicure.
When I went to pay, the technician followed me, clearly expecting a tip, which made me even more frustrated. I paid $45 for something I could have done better at home.
I hope the technician, Steven, gets proper training, and honestly, I hope the entire team takes this as an opportunity to do better. This was not worth the time or money.

My favorite place to get my nails done. They do a great job with with a full set. They pay attention to detail. They have the best pedicures I always get the paraffin wax. Nothing but good things to say, thank you!
