“Dr. Carly McDonald is the best! When our 3-month-old Shih Tzu, Suzie, had an emergency, they got us in right away. At only 4 pounds, she's such a tiny little peanut, so we were understandably worried.
Dr. McDonald was incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate. She took the time to carefully examine Suzie, explain everything, and fix the issue while making the entire experience calm and reassuring for us.
We are so grateful for the exceptional care and genuine kindness she showed our little girl. I highly recommend Dr. Carly McDonald to anyone looking for a veterinarian who truly cares about both their patients and their families. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our sweet Suzie!”
“We absolutely love Cortland Vet Hospital! Dr. Shing and the staff are the best! They always go above and beyond for our babies.
One of our babies is now diabetic, so lots of visits and new changes for us. But they are, as usual, amazing.
Thank you for everything, Cortland Vet Hospital!!”
“Dr. Martin (and staff) have been taking great care of our family pets for the past 25 years. Customer care is always good. The staff here has always been kind and compassionate. From vaccines and every day care, to promptly getting your pet in in an emergency, and all the way through helping your baby cross the rainbow bridge there is no other place in Cortland that I would recommend more.”
“Big shout out to this establishment that not only orchestrated a miracle to help my very sick dog——- but also 100% took my emergency call with compassion and care. Thank you so much to the staff. Their partnership with the SOS outreach program are Heaven sent. 10/10 on going above and beyond for the surrounding communities.”

“Great vet no pressure when it come to your animal and it's needs. Very kind people and willing to work with you to get all the treatment your animal might need! This is an additional edit. Unfortunately today we had to say goodbye to our kitty and the vets and staff were phenomenal. They made sure we understood it he issues and helped us make the decision easier. It's never easy saying goodbye to a pet but I could not have asked for anyplace better. Thank you to the vets and personnel for caring and allowing us to have the time we needed with our dear boy.”
