“Generally very happy. Never had any issues until today. I was only worried about one thing which was my insurance. I began a new job, so lost my old insurance, and won't get new coverage for 3 months, so was trying to stay on top of that today as I know that can be problematic around refill time, which it just so happens to be. I am fairly new to the pharmacy, and the system, so I did the online, but was not sure if that worked, so ended up calling to check to see cost, and when to pick up because also was not sure about timing. Was spoken to very abruptly and told "WHEN we refill it, it will be xx amount of dollars." Sadly, I feel like it just comes with the stigma of what the medication happens to be. I have worked in healthcare many years, so I see it all the time. Otherwise, the cashiers have always been so friendly, and helpful, and it really is a beautiful store. They have literally everything you could possibly need. Love their little candy section too! It's a great small town pharmacy, and a break from the big chains.”

“This independent pharmacy reminds me of the smaller, privately owned pharmacies of Europe. They carry exceptional products in addition to standard CVS/Walgreens inventory—tough to find, higher end brand of shampoos, soap, toothpaste, eye drops, etc with prices equal to or less than Amazon or online shops. They also carry a variety of small gifts and unique little ‘treasures.’ Definitely worth perusing the aisles, if only to see their exceptional inventory and competitive prices. The staff is knowledgeable, capable, and profoundly more willing to assist than those in the large, well known pharmacies nearby. A great asset to a beautiful community. Premium products without the unreasonable mark ups. 👍🏼”
“This pharmacy is a breath of fresh air. I was with PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy for many years. While the individual packets were extremely convenient, every time I needed to add or change a medication I was met with a ton of bureaucracy and back and forth between the pharmacy and my doctor to get all of their questions answered before my medication would be filled which could honestly take days severely delaying my care, not to mention I still have to wait for shipping.
After a situation where I desperately needed to start a new medication so I could feel like myself again and PillPack wouldn't fill it without talking to my doctor I contacted New City Pharmacy as I had an email from my doctor confirming that I was supposed to take this new drug alongside my existing one. They were extremely helpful in transferring my prescriptions from PillPack and had my new medication ordered and filled within a day. They then reached out to all of my doctors to get 90 day supply scripts for all of my various medications and helped me synchronize everything so they'll all renew at the same time.
The staff is extremely polite, they answer the phone right away every time I have to call which is rare these days especially when comparing to CVS or Walgreens who many times have you waiting 20-30 minutes. Now CVS doesn't even answer the phone and directs you to voicemail unless you pretend to be a prescriber, and in that case you still may get voicemail. I normally am in and out of the store with my meds in under 10 minutes, usually closer to 5.
This pharmacy is a huge breath of fresh air and I will never be going back to a big box or mail order pharmacies, mom and pop shops are the way to go!”

“I wanted to give a big thank you to this pharmacy. Yesterday I was desperately rushing to get there before they closed at 1:30 for lunch. I showed up at probably 1:28, saw that the consultation side gate was already closed and just as I ran to the the pick-up side, the gate was closing. The ladies were all so kind to let me get the prescription, didn't make me feel like I was 'that person' even though I was embarrassed knowing I was. I really appreciated them for this kind act, it made my day.”

And I always get to experience that whenever Sandy and Andie are helping me at Save Mor. They are not only the loveliest people I've ever had the joy of interacting with but they go above and beyond for their customers to help them in any and all ways possible. Where others might make you feel like you are burdening them in looking for help from them, that is not the experience you get from these two individuals.
