I have tried to love this place. I bought turkeys goose, lamb. I recently bought eggs there. They were old, stale and way easy to peel, which means they are old eggs. I won’t go back again.

The CSA was okay. I thought it would be fresh meats. I also didn't care for the fact I couldn't request no pork. I had a medium box for my family and didn't find it to be enough I may have had to opt for a bigger package for our family. However, not sure I'd join the CSA again since the meat was frozen.

My first time at Hemlock Hill Farm was to pick-up a fresh Thanksgiving turkey - which was antibiotic-free, hormone-free, harvested that week. My entire family said it was the best turkey I had ever made - it was juicy, tender, oh-so tasty. But the story doesn't end there. That one decision to go to HHF changed the way I've shopped from then-on. I have since become a loyal customer of HHF - and not just for the next holiday dinner on the calendar (think Christmas beef tenderloin, Easter ham, Labor Day burgers).Whenever I just "stop-in" for 1 item - I leave with fresh eggs, local baguettes, their fabulous breakfast sausages, meat for the week, some veggies, marrow bones for the dog, chicken gizzards for the cats - and always a fresh chicken (for soup or roasting). This spring I bought their vegetable seedlings and hanging flowers baskets. Sign-up for their email blasts - and you'll know what's on sale that particular week.I now belong to their Meat CSA which allows pre-paid membership quarterly. Once monthly, I pick-up my boxed share of freshly-frozen items - beef, lamb, pork, chicken. Not only do CSAs help the farmer - for me, it has exposed us to new cuts of meat and new ways of cooking it. And I always have something in the freezer! My most very recent favorites? Tough to choose. Their kielbasa is fabulous. Crack one of their eggs in a skillet next to one bought in your grocery store - you can actually see the difference. I love their sirloin and beef petite tenders (you can cut both with a butter knife) - but just today I grilled their juicy boneless chicken breasts to top a salad.Hemlock Hill Farm is a great concept, and we are very fortunate they are located in northern Westchester. Family-owned for almost 100 years, animals are all pasture-raised and harvested on-site, it's 120 acres in beautiful Cortlandt. The animals are well taken care of - you can see them in the fields - and they are allowed to grow slowly and freely and just be animals on a farm. Know there is value in shopping here - especially when the items are local, organic, and healthy.Thank you, HHF, for nourishing our body and soul.

Stopped here on my way back down to the Island from Massachusetts. The farm itself is beautiful and the inside of the market is extremely clean with a variety of vegetables and different cuts of meat, eggs, bread, and a whole bunch of other delicious items. pictured is the porterhouse and sourdough bread that I picked up. I also picked up some bacon and, a dozen eggs which were equally as delicious, I'm seriously considering purchasing a half a cow from this farm. It's wonderful. and I'd love to purchase directly from a farmer instead of some huge supermarket I will definitely be back!

It is a joy to come to Hemlock Hill! Their meats are first rate. I love that the meat is processed on site into cuts and sausage and all sorts of seasonal foods. Their vegetable selection is always what I seem to need too.And let me tell you... Their bacon is THE BEST!!!!!I do what I can to support local agriculture and Hemlock Hill makes it easy and fun to do.

Edit #1: I wish I could write multiple reviews so I just decided I would keep editing. My first edit is: DO NOT SLEEP ON THE FROZEN BRATS. Or do, and save more for me.Edit #2: Best Delmonicos and Ribeyes money can buy. Butter is built in that beautiful marbling so you can save a trip to your cardiologist.Incredible meats. Fair prices. I don't go anywhere else for my protein. I actually hesitated to post this because I don't want
