I’ve captured the beautiful wedding celebration of Antonio and Alissa at Copake Country Club's Greens restaurant, and let me tell you - this experience was phenomenal! The choice of having the ceremony in the restaurant's backyard, surrounded by expansive fields and bathed in the glow of the setting sun, added a touch of natural elegance to the occasion. The subsequent cocktail hour, still outdoors, allowed guests to continue soaking in the charming atmosphere. What truly stood out was not just the picturesque setting but also the exceptional quality of the food served. The culinary experience at Copake Country Club was truly top-notch, leaving a lasting impression on both the couple and their guests. The versatility of the venue was evident as everyone seamlessly transitioned indoors for the reception, dinner, and dancing, ensuring a seamless flow of the event. If you're looking for a low-key wedding venue that effortlessly combines the tranquility of outdoor spaces with the comfort of indoor facilities, Copake Country Club's Greens restaurant is an excellent choice.

This too was my first time going to the restaurant's renovation. I like what they did for the most part with the dining room but it had a less cozy feel with the large open space. I like the seperate bar space. The food was good. I had the duck ragu: the small cubes of duck (I am wondering if it was ham?) were not what i expected for what i paid. I was hoping to see hearty pieces of meat in my dish. My appetizer was the burrata salad. Again for the price I expected two pieces of cheese and a larger salad with more leaves and dressing. The eggplant dip(?) underneath was very tasty and could possibly have used some bread. My older brother who eats almost everything did not eat the chicken soup I ordered for him. The prices do not reflect the quality that I was expecting. The service was good but it was very quiet since its an off season time.

Delicious food, but I didn't like the dessert. The atmosphere is good, cozy, there is a fire in the center of the room. Nice view from the window. But the service is bad, we waited a very long time for our food, then we waited a long time for dessert and a long time for the bill. It feels like an eternity has passed!

I used to LOVE this restaurant but they no longer have the tempura shrimp app (bummer). And their prices have escalated so much. Yes the new bar and the view can't be beat but just got way too expensive for food I can find comparably elsewhere

Ate at the The Green restaurant at the Copake Country Club. They seemed to have done a little renovation and opened up the reception area. We got seated on the side room and plenty of good spacing. It was October and they had s special Oktoberfest menu with Schnitzel, bratwurst and pats to salad and kraut sampler. The beer was light and refreshing. We had a filet mignon and tomato bisque. Somebody ordered the French Dip sandwich. And I ordered the Duck Ragout. We shared a dessert of Chocolate Torte with pumpkin ice cream. The waiter was very nice and helpful. Service was delightful. This is not my first time here but I wanted to make sure I got a review in and will certainly visit again.

Overall, a solid 4 stars and I'm very grateful to have such a fine dining experience at Copake Lake. The restaurant itself is beautiful - brand new renovation, modern, clean, comfortable. Outside dining is wonderful, shaded and bug free. The views are fantastic. Mostly the golf course hills, a peak at the lake and beautiful trees. The menu offers great options for everyone - including vegetarian. We started with a grilled peach and burrata salad (nice to share) with orange and grapefruit sections and pistachio. It was DeLiCiOuS!! Very light and refreshing and full of great flowers. I had a Turkey burger with side salad - excellent and my husband had a Turkey BLT club with fries - his only complaint was it was light on the turkey. Fries were great. The service was very friendly but took a loooong time for food to come out of kitchen. Very long. 50 minutes from time we ordered til sandwiches came out. And service didn't check if we needed anything while we were waiting. We were not asked if we wanted anything to drink (bottled tap water is provided at table which was fine), nor did our waitress share the specials - we overhead another waitress sharing the specials. But if you're not in a rush and want to enjoy your company and the view, the food is certainly worth waiting for.

Love the remodel. So calming and beautiful. Just had some snacks. Maybe skip the salad with fried artichoke hearts on it.

I don't usually post reviews after a meal out. And I am only posting this in the hope that management will take notice and "improve the experience" of dining out @ The Greens. I am not a newcomer to the Greens since having my second home here in Copake for almost 20 years. I've been there aplenty through the 20. The service was fine though scarce for an almost empty restaurant. Living near Astoria Queens with an abundance of Greek restaurants, I never pass up grilled octopus. Sadly, the grilled octopus I was served was overcooked and rendered tasteless. The lentil/andouille presentation was "pretty", but for the price, a very skimpy serving of octopus, perhaps a blessing in disguise since it had no real taste anyway. The burger was fine even with the soggy bread. I will visit again since I believe in supporting our local venues. But I hope they get the octopus right...next time.

The atmosphere was great, especially since the bar and restaurant were re modeled. We wished the 4th of July menu was a little better. Some patrons were served a special dinner that had to be pre-ordered when they made reservations. Unfortunately, we were not informed of this item when we called for reservations...very disappointed.

Went for lunch on 7/1/23! awful experience! Server could not answer questions about the food, it took forever to get the food in the almost empty restaurant! I got the lobster tempura for $25, which was a tiny tail with greasy coating that was gone in 4 bites! Another got the crab cake sandwich and clam chowder, (waitress forgot to bring the soup until the rest of the meal). The soup was brown and tasteless and nothing like clam chowder! The crab cake tasted like a cheap frozen piece of cardboard! Another person got the steak, which was good, but so small for $25! The lobster and steak came with nothing else on the plate. We had to order French fries for $6 which again was very small and came out warm an not hot. All and all the service was terrible, the food was small, bland and overpriced. The bill with two drinks was over $100! I will never eat here again! Now I know why the place was empty!!!

First the golf course, nice course, beautiful views, but definitely challenging. The clubhouse restaurant is very nice and the food is good. They also have events like comedy shows etc. Great day!

If you want to enjoy a nice view and ambience the Greens is it-- but the dining experience is, well, awful. Very poor service, overpriced and a major disappointment. My wife and I ordered "Seafood fra diavalo" ($34 each) described as shrimp, clams, calamari and mussels" with black ink linguine. What arrived, after waiting an hour, was six mussels and one shrimp...that's not a typo ONE shrimp with a bit of soggy linguine. No clams, no calamari and, again, ONE lonely shrimp. Shameful! (but a nice view of the golf course)! The Greens is off my Summer rotatoon!

Recently re-opened following renovations, the restaurant has some kinks to work out in both the front of the house and in the kitchen.Obviously understaffed, service is pleasant but slow. The quality of the cooking is spotty. Burger was very good and of quality local beef; fries were under-fried. Oysters were very good, but the mignonette came without a spoon with which to apply it to the oysters. Arugula salad was under-dressed with a lemon vinaigrette mysteriously lacking acidity. Drinks ordered with dinner didn’t arrive until the entrée had been finished. Sautéed soft shell crabs were plump but soggy, on a bed of black quinoa pilaf and zucchini noodles that failed as a foil for the crabs. The dining room has wonderful views, but lacks charm and warmth. All around good concepts that fall short in the execution. The place needs some love. Most telling: no owner or manager in evidence to work the room, see what’s coming out of the kitchen, check quality, find out what works — or not. It’s a promising spot. I wish them luck. But I will wait a while for the operation to get its sea legs before giving them another try.
