She charged me twice on my card. Store is so overpacked and messy you can barely shop.

This place is absolutely wonderful. The clothing and things that they sell there are so whimsical and fun and does make you take a trip down memory lane. It maybe a little claustrophobic, but I think that's what gives it the charm. It's a fun place to be at. I would love to bring my girlfriend out to see it one of these days.Bryce@ North East Ford.

Great local place to find unique items, both new and old at a great price. The owner was very friendly and attentive. If you have time to spend there to look, you won't be disappointed.

Massive collection, but it's so packed it can be hard to get to things. Love endlessly, but low ceilings and only 1 dressing room gets it only 4 stars. Recommend!!!

i am huge on thrift shops! i loved the purple barn. A LOT of good stuff. you will need to spend about 3+ hrs looking through things but some great finds and really great prices. I didn't give it 5 stars only because its so packed you can't really move things around on the racks, but if you like to thrift you won't really care, its a fun treasure hunt! I plan on going back when i have more time to sort through things. Hours are friday, saturday and sunday from 930-5. Its kinda far from me but totally worth it!

Maybe it's a good thing I don't live closer to the Purple Barn because I think if I did, I'd be headed here all the time. This small purple building is packed to the gills with second-hand clothing. And I mean literally packed. In some parts of the store, it's almost maze-like. The selection totally runs the gamut, from old jeans to lightly used children's clothes to crazy vintage pieces. On a trip there this past weekend, one friend found vintage Vivienne Westwood wedge sandals in great shape for $20. I found a fun little black dress for $10 and a pair of jeans for $6. Another friend found an awesome white tuxedo jacket with tails for $80, which he passed on in favor of the black sequined suit jacket for $20. Most of the prices are pretty fair. They're higher than, say, Salvation Army, but much cheaper than the vast majority of so-called vintage stores. You can also find a wide assortment of things like wigs, belts and VHS cassettes. The owner is an adorable little woman who's just as friendly as can be.
