“I had a wonder a wonderful experience with Trustco Bank. I would recommend them to anyone. The process was very simple and the rates were good for the mortgage. William Jansz worked diligently to make sure all parties were ready for closing.”
“After yet another frustrating experience at at one of the big national banks, I decided to check out the Fairfield County Bank in Ridgefield.I’m so glad I did. By far the best banking experience I’ve ever had. Every staff member was professional, polite and courteous. Opening the accounts was simple, I was asked my financial requirements and offered options based on them. They issued me a temporary ATM card on the spot. When a technical glitch kept it from accessing my account, several staff members dedicated themselves to resolving the issue. When they did and I went to leave, they said “hold on, let us unlock the door.” I hadn’t noticed it was 20 minutes past the branch closing time. No one mentioned it to me. It’s clear they were staying until they resolved my issue. The next day I went online to download the online banking app. And again had a technical issue. So I returned to the branch. Rather than tell me to look online for the FAQ or a robot tech support number, they walked me through the process. The problem turned out to be completely on my end; my phone settings weren’t correct. To be honest, it was just a stupid mistake on my part. But they were never anything but patient, polite and professional.I cannot recommend them enough.”
“This is a great bank. I opened a new account on Mill Plain road with Sherrill Koch, the Branch Relationship Manager. I really enjoyed our conversation, as it didn't feel stuffy like most other banks. She gave me a lot of knowledge of the bank. I grew up here in Danbury, Connecticut and never realized that Savings Bank of Danbury has been open for a 170 years....wow! Also having attended Danbury High School, I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Hal Wibling's daughters. He is the Chairman of this establishment, and the family integrity is well represented by they banking institution.”
“The manager at the Ridgefield Main Street branch, Debbie Przewlocki, is a stellar manager and human being. She found potential fraud on our account, called immediately and multiple times to get through, closed our account, got a new account opened, and dealt with all the other issues involved, all while being incredibly kind and understanding. What a difference it makes at such a tough time to have someone so careful, competent, thorough, and caring to help us through this ordeal. THANK YOU, Debbie!”
“I love this branch! The staff are friendly, polite and professional, especially Ping and Perry. Since I always use the drive-up, most likely I talk with one of them. They are awesome!”
“I have been locked out for 2+ weeks. I spoke with Amy Williams and, besides being very courteous as many are, she was able to help me get back on line. Although I hope I don't have to go through this hassle again, if I do, I will call Amy to help me through the problems again. She is highly professional and I thank her again. On a separate note, it is ridiculous to have a recovery process that takes 2+ weeks and is out of the staff's hands. That is not in the least customer friendly. The lockout was my problem through inadvertently responding incorrectly to the login questions. That happens. A recovery should be able to be effected immediately upon a phone call and verification. On another note, your vendor, since I was told the problem was created by the mysterious vendor, is that you cannot automatically make international calls. I am frequently in France and cannot receive phone calls except by human intervention, e.g. for wire transfers. It would not be difficult to handle international calls so you would not simply remain a county bank.”
“Andi Daku was my introduction to Wells Fargo. He’s very professional and he took my case from the Bedford location and handled it very good. Andi, you’re young and the way you take care of your customers I know you’re going places.”
“Love this branch the only thing that stinks is they are closed on Saturday's if they were opened on that day would give it five stars. Can't take money out when I need to since I'm waiting for my debit card to come in the mail.”
“Key Bank in Mount Kisco has a friendly staff, it’s a definite crowd pleaser! They most of the time have confectionery and coffee for the many customer’s whim. The draw is the service and hospitality, where we see the 5 star rated care to their patrons. Keybank in Mount Kisco allows you to notarize documents, cash checks, withdraw (which of course are all obvious status quo functions of banks) yet this bank runs at a level that seems unreachable. The app is user- friendly and intuitive but if at all you have any issues you can call the bank and they resolve it right away. A formidable bank with staff that are highly trained to know what and how to do their job, there is nothing more I can say about the service at this location than their expertise is at an apotheosis: as someone who has read 1,081 books in his lifetime, a New School University alumni, Parsons student, with a Master’s in Education I find the astute nature of the staff a fresh of breath air”
“This Chase branch deserves every bit of its five stars! I opened a business account (with all the extra paperwork involved) and Samantha, my personal banker, guided me through the process with patience, clarity, and elegance. From the friendly tellers up front to the excellent care I received, it was a truly outstanding experience. Highly recommend this branch!”
“Great organization preserving wooded and open spaces for native wildlife and plants. They have many properties that are open free to the public for hiking. Parking is usually limited and not paved. Restrooms are not usually available.”
“Bank branches vary from great to terrible. Doesn’t matter what the name is, the service you receive is totally dependent on the branch.
I’m happy to say this branch is one of the best. Staff are extremely helpful. They know their stuff, and while there may be a line, this bank does what they can to keep it moving.
Final review: Great bank. Great branch. Great people. And Anna, on of the tellers is great. She really knows her stuff—and goes to great lengths to treat every person as a valued guest—not just another customer.”

“Ron Cruz amazing to work with, he should be running the CITIBANK of new Canaan, he is extremely efficient, professional fast speed always knows what he’s doing. I highly recommend working with him directly when you go there.”
“I've been banking with Chase for about eight years from the Ridgefield location and I only have positive things to say. The location has lots of parking, has a nice atmosphere, and I've only had positive experiences. I just do basic banking at this stage of my life so in that regard I am happy. On the occasion I've overdrafted from my checking they refunded the fee when I asked them to. I appreciate that.”
“I know that it has been a couple of months....I really want to thank Alexandra (manager) who helped me out a lot dealing with my mortgage and the death of my aunt. Alexandra was so helpful and very patient. Continue to wear those many hats!!! You wear them well.”
“Everytime I go, everyone is always pleasant. Also every banker i dealt with is very knowledgeable. Wish they have earlier or later hours since I work during same hours. Lol”
“WOW I was treated so well by Tommy B. He was kind, informative and speedy. I greatly appreciated him hearing what was going on and coming to help right away. “M&T has been my business bank for 10+ years for good reason. I could write a novel of details but I was inspired to write this review when leaving the Ridgefield, CT branch this morning about a specific experience. In addition to the personal service and the local branch folks knowing your name, M&T has always respected my time. For example, I send an email to the branch every month and then come in to sign the paperwork for an int’l wire transfer. I was in the branch for no more than 2 1/2 minutes this morning to complete this month’s transfer! Very impressive.”
“I have done my banking at this branch for over a decade, with countless visits, multiple accounts, including business. The staff has always been pleasant and competent, helpful, and able to deal with complex situations with skill and sensitivity. I have nothing but praise for their performance, and recommend them unreservedly.”
“I AM RATING THE STAFF - NOT THE BRAND BANK.The staff at this location (for the most part) is very friendly. They try their best to be helpful as well. I will admit, Wells Fargo Bank is not a great bank to be working with as an individual. They are very much fee hungry and its not great. Once again, the staff at this location was very kind to me (except what seemed to be the manager, haha), but over all this was a good location. Not sure if I will be a customer of Wells Fargo much longer though due to their other issues.Overall Rating: 8/10”
“Always great service. Amanda, business specialist, is amazing helper and adviser. Very friendly environment. Not that cold as in nearest New Canaan CT or Ridgefield CT. Just visit and feel the difference. Using them for years with excellent experience only. Thank you guys! You are really taking care of people. A++”
