Parking is extremely difficult here. Living in nearby Somers which has a nightmare PO thought it may be easier because it's a tiny village. I operate a home based business with many packages to mail. Went inside and the effeminate man with the BUG EYES just stands there chatting away like a yenta with some woman, staring at me. I waited for several minutes and when the cross dresser saw my addy it told me that I couldn't mail out packages from there and had to do it where I lived. I was in no mood to argue with this fruit as he looked me up and down. Gave me the creeps so I left. Onto Katonah.

Those that are giving bad reviews to Anthony and the Croton Falls Post Office need a reality check. I guess you people in the 'burbs need a lot of hand holding. Go to NYC or even Yonkers post office and see what really poor service is about. People who think they shouldn't have to wait in line, need no appointment for a passport , cheat on the weight of the items they use a pre-paid label with or become consumed with someone's soup order need psychiatric care. Most of us hard working individuals have more to do with our time and value someone who is proficient, efficient and in my case open the PO on time!!! Get a grip people. Anthony is exceptional, conscientious and cares about his job. Need to clone this guy!!!

Since taking on a new job in North Salem I have been using the Croton Falls post office. Anthony is like no other postal worker I’ve experienced in the past. He has always been pleasant and knowledgeable of all aspects of the postal service. He always takes his time with me to help figure out the best way to send a package. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My office, North Salem Dental Care, has been going to the Croton Falls Post Office for many years and dealing with Anthony. He helped us with all our mailings - even before the internet - and always did and does go out of his way to point out any savings or a better way of doing things. My son unexpectedly needed his passport updated andAnthony truly went to an extreme to help my family facilitate this process. We were very grateful.Lastly, we all here at our office get that Anthony genuinely cares about all who walk through the door.Fred & Suzanne Faustini

I highly recommend this post office! My husband and I had to renew our passports. Anthony and Ashwin we're incredibly kind and helpful. They made it a seamless process and were extremely patient. Anthony called ahead to let us know exactly what documentation we would need to make the process smoother. He was absolutely lovely. He made conversation, cracked jokes and didn't rush us. We felt like he was actually happy to help us (unlike many other places). We will be using this post office from now on. Thank you Anthony and Ashwin for amazing customer service!

I have been coming to this post office for years and years. Anthony has been nothing but helpful, kind and patient so I do not know what Natasha is talking about. He basically runs the show there. He has been here through it all, pandemic and ALL. The post office is opened through his lunch so him buying a soup for 3 mins should NOT be a problem. Where do you go now days and get treated with 5 star service? The post office is one of them. Everytime I come in here Anthony makes it a point to ask how I am doing and makes small talk with customers. This is what makes people come back here. When you come in with envelopes or packages that are already metered he has to weigh them and make sure they are correct, or else that is cheating the post office. So Natasha you are amazed? I think the concern is you especially trying to blast a local post office with genuine working people. Go find another post office we do not need your rude behavior in our small town. GET lost!

The place is under new management - thank goodness!!! The new post master has been tackling long standing and significant service issues that were always shrugged off by the old regime who demonstrated not one iota of interest in actually solving problems. Kudos to the new PM as changing the culture here will not be an easy task. It's been very hard walking in this location that is my local office, for many years due to inappropriate gossiping, complaining about the PS and right wing-nut political conversations fomented and encouraged by one staff member. This should have been addressed long ago but better late then never!! Problems with the PO box system have been addressed and I am now getting delivery more reliably. Service hours have also been increased! Keep up the good work!

I have been going to this post office for 11 years since getting a job nearby. I am amazed by the positive feedback of this person named Anthony. I have never met the rudest and more obnoxious person working in the post office. It is almost like he is looking for a chance to give you a hard time and be rude. I sort of know who leaves those nice reviews. Every time I stand in line, he chats with some old lady and complains about everything and tries to be all charming. I stopped going there unless I need to drop something without interacting with him. Once I printed the label at home for something I weighted and he found it to be 0.5oz heavier. He charged me for that, and it wasn't a little. He is just never helpful in any way, just the opposite. And I think I give a LOT of business to the post office by mailing a lot of packages. One time I came during my lunch break and had to wait for him for about 15 min because he was buying soup at the nearby deli. According to someone who waited with me, he has to buy his soup before his lunch break at 1pm because they run out of his favorite soup. So, he gets his lunch break plus 15 min for buying soup as I lose my 15 min of lunch break. The guy constantly complains about everything and his job. He could do us all a great favor of either quitting or retiring. I go to 2-3 other post offices now even though it is not that convenient for me - and everywhere people are really nice and helpful. By the way, every time Anthony is not there, I get pretty good service and other people working there are great, it is just this one guy.

I am convinced this Anthony guy is absolutely the rudest person in the entire US post office! I have known him for about a decade and EVERY single time I go there (and I only do it now when I am desperate and need something ASAP), I get his terrible attitude and no help. Multiple times he didn't accept my packages for various reasons. One time I asked him for a small piece of tape to close my package and he told me it is not free. One time my pre-paid package was 0.5oz heavier and he charged me for it. I can go on and on about my experience. I wish he could already quit because it is obvious he hates his job based on his constant complaining. Actually, I wish they would fire him already. He is probably taking someone's spot and getting good benefits, and clearly doesn't deserve any of it!

Wow, so nasty and rude. The few times I have gone in, he has cried every time about being there by himself

I cannot express how outstanding Anthony is . He is professional, knowledgeable, patient, courteous and also possesses the quality of kindness. The combination of all of these attributes actually makes it a pleasure to go to this post office !

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The employees there are extremely rude. One gentleman working there is extremely angry and I think is in need of psychiatric help. He is too overwhelmed when there are more than 2 people there. Now I know where the expression GOING POSTAL means!!!
