We've wanted to visit the Great Pumpkin Blaze event for years- and finally can cross this off our bucket list! Definitely don't wait to see this absolutely beautiful display of themed carved and lighted pumpkins at Van Cortlandt Manor around Halloween time with your friends, family or neighbors. The Blaze is an absolute delight- for anyone of any age.

The Great Jack O' Lantern was extraordinary this year. I wanted to visit Van Cortland Manor in last so many years, but tickets were going so quickly for the weekends around Halloween. I finally made it this year. Try to go in the last show of the evening to beat the crowds, and you will have ample opportunities to get awesome pictures. The parking was easy, and Jack o' lantern experience was something unique. You must visit Hudson Valley around? ? ?.

The Great Jack'O'Lantern Blaze was phenomenal this year. You seem to get him better during the weeknights and if you pick a later time, the chances of a crowd or less. Despite tons of cars, parking was easy. Fun experience for Hudson Valley visitors.

This is an incredible art installation and my kids and I have enjoyed it for nearly 10 years! Each year is a little different though many displays are redone year after year. Decent bathroom setup, and small vendors for food, beer and souvenirs that are pretty pricey. There is nothing interactive and yet my kids have enjoyed it consistently since they were about 3 or 4 years old. It is not at all scary. The grounds make it a perfect backdrop for the thousands of glowing pumpkins, all you have to do is take your time and enjoy the stroll.

Love coming every year to the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze! It's a great time out, every time. There's always something new so it doesn't get old. I have to add, I know it's lost revenue but the spaciousness with less crowding, how nice!!Thanks for keeping us safe.

very cute place with lots of things to look at. It was a nice experience for the kids they really enjoyed seeing the pumpkins. The parking situation was very well organized and the ushers were able to properly place everyone's car in the lot so that no one was blocking when it was time to leave and everyone was properly escorted to the exit. I would go back it seems to be a very well-organized place.

Oh gosh I’m so glad I finally made it to the Great Jack O Lantern Blaze! What an amazing event! Definitely go at night but holy moly this place was so great. Light up pumpkins everywhere: a pumpkin art museum, pumpkin stained glass windows, and I just could not leave the Astronomy Tunnel full of starry pumpkin constellations! Logistically, parking was a breeze, the path through was one way so easy to follow in the dark, and even though there were lots of people it didn’t feel crowded in most of the exhibits. There was hot cider and food and 21+ drinks too, and a gift shop with all kinds of pumpkiny goodness. I’ll be back next year!

The great jack o lantern pumpkin blaze was awesome!! Was amazed at what they can do with pumpkins! Make sure you buy tickets because it sells out in advance but really worth it!! I'm told the mac and cheese is really good but it was sold out. The donuts were really good. I would definitely make the trip again. The train, carousel, bridges, faces and art were great!!! So glad we went and I'm not a huge Halloween fan!

This place is beautiful. Winter is cold. Its about an hour of walking in the deep dark woods but it is beautiful. The lights the pumpkins the carvings on the pumpkins the Statue of Liberty made of pumpkins the bridge that Headless Horseman bridge is nice also. They have a section that like this be Headless Horseman is coming down the ramp it would be really nice if they was to make a Shadow of the Headless Horseman coming down the ramp but I guess that's something for them to do next year probably hopefully. But all in all is a great place!!??

I went to the pumpkin blaze and it never fails to awe and amaze me. They have the carousel and the statute of liberty again. This year they have MOPA. The museum of pumpkin art. They were AWESOME. Some of the replicas were the Campbell's soup can and my favorite, I think it's called the screamer. When you see it you will know what it is. We had a 8:30 entry time. We waited 50 minutes to get off the exit. Traffic is really bad the later your entry time. It was worth the wait but give yourself extra time. I went on a Wednesday night.

We visited for The Great Jack-o-Lantern Blaze and it was an unforgettable experience. I love all things Halloween, so this was on my bucket list and it was well worth the visit. Parking and getting into the event was well organized and easy. We stayed for about an hour walking through and admiring the thousands of hand carved pumpkins that illuminated the night. Truly a beautiful and one of a kind display!

We visited the Van Cortlandt Manor buying the Blaze. The Blaze is a Halloween staple that every local or tourist should visit at least once! Amazing artistic craftsmanship in carving and sculpting pumpkins in a variety of themes, both Halloween related and beyond. Adults are sure to have as great a time as kiddos!
