Berry Hill Book Shop is a hidden treasure and an amazing old barn bookstore in central New York. It is widely considered the best and coolest bookshop in the state, offering a great adventure across its three well-organized floors. The shop has a huge and extensive collection, featuring many local, rare, vintage, and much older volumes on almost every topic. There is an entire area on the third floor dedicated to inexpensive reads, often priced at a dollar or less, allowing visitors to bring home a large stack for a reasonable price. The barn is constantly full of great titles, and there is always bound to be something really exceptional, interesting, and unique. It is a wonderful place to visit and browse with family, though it can be a little dusty. This remarkable shop is a definite destination for anyone enjoying a country ride.
A true unicorn in regards to book barns . In the modern day plastic incantations of Barnes / noble and kindle books this place is a testament that not everything improves with time . Recommended to book lovers everywhere .

This wonderful used bookstore is a must visit. It was fun wandering around and seeing what all is there. The collection seemed to be heavy with history and excellent reference books. It's easy to miss the turn. You'll see the owner's house before you spot the turn and the barn.

What a hidden gem!! Someone recommended visiting this bookstore and I'm so happy they told us about this amazing place! Doug was so incredibly friendly and their cat, Lucky, was such a cutie pie! There were so many amazing rare finds, I wish I had more time to explore. We'll be back!!
