“I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a tattoo to go here. Very professional and clean. I provided my idea and had the artist put it to life. He was willing to make any changes, if needed. I had three tattoos from Jeff.”
“Had four pieces framed. Two paintings on canvas & two photos. Process was a breeze & they helped to educate us on which types of frames / glass would help to preserve the quality of our pieces. Will definitely return.”
“I have had many pieces of artwork framed at Morningside Gallery over the years with 100% satisfaction every time! Patrice and Paul are so helpful in picking the perfect frame and matting! So appreciative of their expertise and professionalism!”

“This was my first performance at the Albany Barn. The play "MRS. PACKARD" was so well done. The acting was impressive and riveting. I was greeted by one of the members as I entered who gave me a brief orientation of the building and the residents who live there. I strongly recommend this to anyone who loves the arts and wishes to support the Albany art community. Bravo!”
“I have yet to see another glass shop like this. They have paraphernalia, they have drinkware, they have showpieces. The attention to detail and the combination of colors within the glass is something you have to see in person. This place has the most beautiful glass I've seen, and it's all hand blown in the shop. No Chinese glass here! The only place I'll buy my paraphernalia from now on!”

“So glad I got to visit this local icon on their last day in business. It was a favorite haunt when I lived in this area in the 90s. So many great memories of unique, special films. Thanks for the memories Spectrum!”
“We enjoyed night 1 of 10 of TroyGlow. It was a wonderful way to explore a small slice of Troy and enjoy easily accessible artwork situated throughout.
Bravo!”
“Great local center where they are reaching out in the community to connect local artists to kids. With the goal being to get them interested in a positive ways of expressing themselves through many different art medias.”
“This is a great, small space to check out if you're already in the area and would like a little add-on to your day. It's like a little appetizer or dessert for a longer outing, but totally worth it. There are also some murals and sculptures outside of the gallery that are nice to check out and take a selfie with.”
“We bought a beautiful dresser. The owner was extremely kind and accommodating with my purchase especially with the transportation. They offered to touch up the furniture after I accidentally scratched it trying to move it. I recommend them very highly they have some beautiful and unique items. Just wanted to show my appreciation. Thanks.”
“I've seen friends take classes here (pottery) for a while and they've loved the classes! I am a local art teacher and started teaching art at a school that had not had visual art in the curriculum for several years. As a result, there weren't that many supplies and I was struggling with figuring out what I could do with a small budget. I posted, asking for help to the Albany community on the Albany Buy Nothing Group (on Facebook) that I am a part of. Karen graciously donated a LOT of art supplies to my art classroom!! I was blown away by her generosity. I packed up my car and she gave me things that weren't in use anymore and have come in handy in my classroom such as collage material, scrap fabric, tons of containers for paint water, crayons, and pencils, tempera paint, lots and lots of paper, and different odds and ends that you'd find around an art classroom. When I started my job, because of so many years without art, I walked into basically an empty classroom! It was so daunting, and Karen was so kind to me. The Albany Art Room really helped me hit the ground running for when the school year started. She donated crayons, aprons, and easels too! It really is so wonderful to make a connection with another artist and educator in the Albany area, and I think fondly of The Albany Art Room and Karen almost every few days when I use something in my classroom that she's given me. I am planning on taking some pottery classes at The Albany Art Room for fun, because I haven't been a student in an art class in a while. I am so excited to learn more about this space, the people, the classes, and the community it offers.”
“Great experience and a beautiful job framing a painting I brought to the shop. I plan to bring more of my family heirloom paintings for much needed frame upgrades!”
