December 2022 by Kelsey Loughiln
We started at CT in Delmar mid pandemic. I originally applied for a spot in June and they held my spot until I started in November of 2020. I had two children in two different classes. The staff at CT in Delmar are loving and attentive we would get plenty of art work and photos sent home of my kids just laughing while getting their feet painted. My older child struggles with drop offs but CT WAS Always very patient and helped him. My older son has now moved on but my younger son is still enrolled. Throughout the pandemic they have been consistent in expressing their policies and expectations and announcing protocols. When masking wasn’t mandatory they were comfortable with the fact that I still wanted my children masked when masking became mandatory they enforced it. Access to cameras and an app are nice but with this school I don’t really check them I know my child is safe and loved and comes home with a smile and a story each day. What more could you ask out of a childcare facility.

Worked here. Kids and parents are wonderful. But staff are horrible to each other and have favorite kids. I get it, favoritism is normal when there are extremely bright and well behaved kids. But they were mean to kids that needed a little more attention and care, they yelled at them and singled them out, nothing physical. I couldn't help but feel horrible for those kids. When those kids were moving or graduating to kindergarten, staff would literally be singing praises. Staff spoke bad of other workers and parents and their boss, probably even me because I remained professional and they often made me do all of the dirty work. I would write a novel and I hope they don't have the same workers there. I would just warn parents with hyperactive kids and children that need special attention, to please ask your child if they get yelled at. Not sure if the same manager still works there, her name is Megan. She's wonderful and sweet, she is not to blame for her staff. I'm giving 3 stars bc it's a great institution, the staff on the other hand is what deserves the 3 stars.

Our son has been attending Childtime for 4 years! We love the teachers, and the environment is definitely getting him ready for "big kid" school in the coming years. The teachers are so loving and we couldn't ask for more from them!

My name is Celinda and I am applying for the lead preschool position. I really like the lower ratio of student to child which allows for more time spent with each child on their emerging skills. The empowered child curriculum allows for a child to be engaged in all aspects of learning which I feel is very impressive. Counting straws for milk is such a real life way to teach counting and I love it. Not only is this program engaging and educational but also fun which is in integral part of learning. I would be honored to be a part of this great program and work with staff who are dedicated to educating children as I am. I am looking forward to hopefully being a part of this great community of learners.
