“Edleez is a step back in time with a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I love the vibe - a mom and pop tobacco shop. If you forget the hustle and bustle of the buses and cars outside in the plaza, and just zone out for a minute and take in the smells, tin tobacco designs, cigar humidor, all of the various chews and snuffs, dips and tobacco available behind the counter - it is a treat for the sense. It brings back memories of my grandfather and his house growing up when he'd sit and smoke his pipe and chat with me about life.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and willing to chat and educate. Newbies in the world of cigars all the way to experienced cigar lovers are welcome and I have witnessed, on several occasions, the staff helping folks around the cigar humidor. The staff is attentive and friendly, not pushy.
There is a modern smoking lounge, helpful on a cold winter day when you might want to enjoy a smoke - or anytime.
Even if you don't smoke, this place is a landmark and I suggest just going in to see a REAL tobacconist. Their products are the best, many are hard or near impossible to find elsewhere. Check it out and treat your senses!”

“Doesn't look like much on the outside but it is full of a huge selection of beer, largely local. Only downside in my mind is that you have to buy in 4/6 packs with very few singles for sale. But absolutely worth stopping to grab some really good beer. Also has a smoke/convenience shop inside.”

“Since I don't smoke cigars I appreciate the knowledge and suggestions of the guy who helped me. I needed a gift for a neighbor who enjoys a good cigar and is always there to lend a hand, and he used both hands, construction skills, and tools to help me redo my deck. I was asked what type of cigar my neighbor likes, and since I purchased them before, I said Cohibas. I also mentioned he had a heart procedure a year ago, and he suggested a mild cigar would probably be the best choice for him. He recommended Padrons, and since I know what I don't know, I said I'll take 3 of them. Well, when I gave them to my neighbor, along with a few other thank you gifts, he was very impressed. The next day he told me how much he enjoyed his first one as he was sitting outside after dinner. I usually come here for gifts for my friends that enjoy their cigars, and I have never been disappointed.”

“This is a clean and very decent store. They have a ton of different varieties of loose tobacco, which is what I was there for. I really was hoping that they had organic tobacco, but they don’t. Not a whole lot of stores carry it. I am not a smoker, I was going there to get organic tobacco for other uses. But I wasn’t disappointed with the store, and the woman who was working there was as helpful as she could be, and pleasant. They carry unbranded large bags of loose tobacco in different blends, which look pretty good, but I have to say that I did not try them out because I really wanted the organic stuff. This store is definitely worth a stop if you need loose tobacco or other supplies and are in the vicinity. Plenty of safe parking - this place is in a fairly modern and very safe strip mall on the outskirts of Rensselaer / East Greenbush.”

“We went in looking for a pipe they had what we were looking for and we purchased one they have a variety of pipes of all different sizes and colors from the very small wooden ones all the way from all the way through glass and up to very big ones you can decide on what you want to get they have bongs as well so check them out we did have a pleasant day and be well where it was up to me I would give the store 45 Stars”

The owner and same people are usually there so it’s very comforting when they remember what kind of beer you enjoy most and want to show you new items! “Is it necessary to review any place that is a neighborhood Beverage Center. I was prompted, so here goes. Ok. I dont often have a need for my patronage of these purveyors of Alcoholic Beverages, but I was pre-concert doing the part of a designated driver. I have gone here when holidays, or Company are going to visit my humble abode. And in this case, a Rock concert. The owners, have always been very courteous and accomodating when prompted for info on a new Beer, or some other Brew related minutia. They are and should be gregarious if they want repeat business. They are knowledgeable and sociable and Regulars probably care more about distance than a hello or some half hearted concern for the weather. And I close with, I was given a beer glass with a purchase and my holiday cheer was recognized with a Heineken beer glass. Slainte as said in my house.”
