If I could give this store a zero I would. The store closes before the closing time. I use to come here before I went into work to get something to drink. But for the past few months. They have been closed before 10 pm. I usually get to the store by 9:20 pm and the store is always closed. I think I will take my busy elsewhere. I’m done with this store.

Management is a issue at this store. Managers whoever the guy is, he always has a attitude and he makes customers not want to return. Make the changes dollar general. The guy should not be a manager.

There is many things wrong with this location. THE MANAGER IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM. He walks around looking miserable and doesn't seem to have great talking skills with customers or his own team. I have seen this guy be very rude to his team and I believe his name is Robert. The guy simply can not run a store. The store was closed for so long due to having issues and I simply can not shop at this location ever again until things with management there changes. The manager there ruins the business and at the end of the day I believe more customers stop shopping there simply because of that guy.
I hope management takes notes of these reviews and makes the changes that is needed. Alot of people count on this store in the area yet with poor managers this store will not have great business. Horrible.

If I could give 0 stars I would be careful loading cash app they like taking people's money and then not knowing what to do I want my 200 they took off my card this is absolutely bs

I would give 0 stars if possible they never restock drink or beer coolers would be nice after a hard day over 10 hours to stop at the store for a cold beer not this place if I could post a picture beer cooler is EMPTY but there’s plenty of warm beer

Kudos to the whole team at the location on Walden Ave in Depew. It was the cleanest and most organized Dollar General I have ever been in. I have avoided this chain for years, as well as one other like it, because of bad experiences like disorganization and lack of customer attention. But this store in particular was immaculate and the staff was friendly and hard working, and it showed! They didn’t mope around acting like they hated their job, wishing they were someplace else. Thank you for caring about your customers and place of employment. Well done! You truly are appreciated!

This is my regular DG I visit and haven't had a bad experience as a customer, until today. The store is clean n usually stocked pretty good. But the new employee Kendra is very rude. She talked bad about me when I walked away. What she didn't realize was that I could hear her. Kendra is a bad addition to this store. I'm going to drive out of my way to another DG because I won't shop at a store where an employee talks bad about the customers.

This use to be one of my favorite locations but after the customer service I received there I will never go back to that location. I was either videotaped or had my pictures taken by the store manager, for what reason you ask? I have absolutely no idea! I’ve been in touch with corporate and their district manager was going to contact me about the situation and it’s been 3 weeks and still have heard nothing! If I find that any of that was posted on social media I will be contacting my lawyer and will be taking legal action.

I frequent the store quite regularly, today I ran in this morning so I can get a few things and use my weekly coupons. One of the items that I needed was the Mr. clean Magic eraser in the 3 count box. I proceeded to the aisle, saw that they did not have it proceeded to walk out the store to go to another location down the road. I park in the parking lot that's in back of the store due to a huge crater of a pothole in the front parking lot. So I walk to my car, I get in and see that the store manager is now in her vehicle smoking a cigarette while videotaping me on her phone or taking pictures. At first I didn't realize what she was doing. As I back out of my spot, I realize her phone in her hand and it's placed up to her windshield. She again is either videoing me or taking pictures. I'm not sure what she was doing. I see her almost every week. I'm not saying she should remember who I am but I'm not sure if she thought I was shoplifting mind you, I carry the smallest little purse that could barely fit my wallet, phone and keys. Anyway I decided to go to the other location that's down the road from my house to see if the they have the items I needed which they did I purchased about $50 worth of product and got talking to the employee there and told him what has just happened. He said that the manager at the Walden Ave location has a "reputation" for things like that. I am a faithful customer and spend a decent amount of money with this company, if she did think I was stealing which mind you she wasn't even in the store when I walked in and obviously I would NOT steal, she should have said something to me. I've been in retail for over 25 years and I e never had this happen to me nor would I do this to a customer especially in this situation, it was very odd. Honestly if I had time to go back I would have, or I would have said something when it was happening but I kind of realized it to late. It was a very odd experience, I did reach out to corporate to explain what happened. I don't think I'll go back there, just for the simple fact that this situation even occurred. I'll continue to go to the other location, it usually has more in stock anyway. I just wanted to share my experience incase it happens to someone else.
