I bought my first car here. Nick was very friendly, which made me not nervous during the test drive. Nick and I discussed many details about the car condition and gave me much concessions in the final transaction price. If you also have the idea to buy a car, I recommend you to come here and give it a try. Good luck to all of you!

Purchased a classic vehicle. Seemed like it was going to be a good experience. Buying something online can always be sketchy but decided to go through a what seemed to be a bigger dealership for more security. Sadly was this a huge mistake! This dealership will show and tell you all the things you would want to hear. It started after sending them the entire amount for the vehicle. They were supposed to have the vehicle transported and that ended up a issue. Of course they say that not there fault its the transport company. After finally receiving the car it was very clear that the salesman was very good at staying away from problem areas while showing video and telling about others. The car was a put together of many different cars half if not most not even bolted together. The salesman told me " it runs good." That it was driven in from about 30 min away and no issues. This was another false statement. The car turns on but definitely not in good running order. It leaks every type of fluid you can put in the car. Only liquid I have not found leaking is coolant. (Cross my fingers.) The transmission is going out on this car and u joint are toast. Saleman stated it passed NY inspection which is one of the strictest states from what he says. Again I find that hard to believe because the light and blinkers are either out or not working properly. I was ok with the vehicle not being perfect and being in a solid driving somewhat of a project state. Little did I know that it was a complete Frankenstein of a car. So needless to say I would never do business here again and unfortunately because of this experience will never buy online again. I would not recommend this dealer nor the work they do when it comes to claiming they fix and restore classic cars.

Went in for spark plug change 11/10 and got the car back with the check engine light on and code P0304 for cylinder 4 misfire... why did i pay to have my vehicle serviced to get it back in worse shape? The car was EXTREMELY jumpy upon starting when i got it back and halfway home the check engine light kicked on. I wanted to bring it back but was told the main tech isn't there I'm afraid to even bring it back there honestly. Ive went here for years for oil changes and inspections I did not think a simple spark plug swap would end with me having to take it back in another time. Hopefully this is a free and easy fix as the car had no issues before being brought in.

Was referred to Joe Basil Chevrolet by a close friend to turn in my lease and purchase another Chevy Equinox. My salesman Daniel Bryant listened to my needs for a new vehicle and went the extra mile to find the right fit for me. Car shopping is often stressful, but Dan Bryant, and the finance team made it stressless. I'm excited to be doing business with Basil. So if you're in the market for a new vehicle ask for Dan. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely loved my experience here with Basil Resale! Pat my salesman was phenomenal and worked with my time constraints like a pro, answering all my questions and not playing “the game” with me. My credit is less than ideal currently and I was still able to get the vehicle I wanted at a price I am very comfortable with. Thank you Pat, Ken, and Steve!! Highly recommend shopping here for your next vehicle.

Scheduled an oil change I arrived at 9:25 gave him my keys, he showed me to the lounge where they offered coffee tea sodas and even fresh donuts ?. At 10:20 he called me to pick up my chevy oiled tire rotation and a quick wash. What a treat, what a great service staff. Can't wait till my next service appointment ?.So this is Trixie, my new Trax, that Darren put me into after my 2019 Trax was crashed into. Not only did the trax keep us safe, but onstar did all the work!So if your looking for a good reliable safe vehicle see Darren Sumers at Joe Basil Chevrolet resale shop. The best dealer!Again, great service and oil change was quick. And free car wash to boot ?

Bought a brand new 2023 Chevy Colorado from Basil. Giving this 2 stars because of the issues after. Buying the car was great, was able to work out a deal that benefited the both of us and walked out the same day with a deposit down and pick up a couple days later. It was only after when I had a few issues. I understand with some new cars, especially the new generation trucks, there are still some kinks to be worked out, but the servicing department isn't the most helpful. Dealership installed lug nuts (special locking lug nuts) were loose and one fell off at my work parking lot (I work at General Motors and helped build the radiator, condenser and CAC for the truck). When I called to get them tightened I was able to get in in a couple of days after but when I got there it seemed like I was more of a bother, than a customer. I understand that some days are busier than others, but when they see you waiting at the service desk and look down and walk away, that's alittle rude. When I finally got in, I explained the issue to the service manager and he handed it off to a tech, who was more helpful than the manager and seemed like he cared more.I have another servicing for my truck, as the wireless charging pad doesn't work and the truck jerks forward when it comes to a stop. Debating on going to West Herr dealerships, but I want to give basil another chance, since I bought my first car from them as well.

I was here for my appointment for a car inspection. I didn’t realize until later I went on the wrong day. The dealership didn’t say anything. The service person Anthony welcomed me, checked me in and showed me where to wait. As I was waiting he sent a text to me that if I have any questions to contact him. This was very personal service. This great service made me feel that I was important. They proceeded with my car inspection in a timely and very friendly manner. Can’t wait for next year’s inspection!!

Friendly staff who explained what would happen. They also let me know how long the wait would be. I had an oil change as well as asked them to look at my brakes. My car suddenly started squealing when driving but stopped when I hit the brakes. They found a piece of another car part wedged in against my tire. I was very appreciative of the service. The car wash is an added bonus to excellent service!

My service advisor was great he diagnosed my problem within seconds. That's where everything goes south. The shop rated are disgustingly high and I ended up paying $107 to have a $3 part installed I am not sure what other shops charge for labor because I work on my vehicles at home as much as I can but I feel like what I paid to have such an effortless job done is outrageous

Excellent dealership. Fast and knowledgeable service. I was in and driving home in a new vehicle in 4 hours. Cam is the best salesman, definitely recommend going to him if your looking for a new vehicle.

I’ve had my truck for six months it’s a 2020 trailboss, I have a five year hundred thousand mile warranty, bumper-to-bumper. I come to find one day that my shock is blown and on the same day my radio stopped working so I called them. I took it in to basil. The man that was filling me in on my vehicle updates was a service representative he told me that my shock is fine when in reality, it is completely blown without a doubt I had multiple mechanics tell me this. Seemed to me like they didn’t want to fix it because then he decided to tell me it’s not covered under warranty when the warranty specifically said all suspension components. I began to question this in frustration as you can understand, I was quickly sent over to the used car sales representative and he was supposed to call me back and explain as to why shocks are not covered, he never got back to me. Currently today my shock is still blown and making the same noise as it was before. I had to pay a $275 “environmental deductible” on a bumper to bumper warranty for a new radio and ground cable. When I first bought my vehicle, they told me that all electronic components are covered under Warranty. So why did this cost me $275? The fact that I had to pay anything to these scam artist is ridiculous. Never go to Joe Basil.

My vehicle was towed 8/17 to the dealership as it Stopped while in traffic at a red light. My vehicle was not even looked at until 8/29 I did not receive a loaner until 8/28. When I was called 8/29 I was advised no codes appeared. I was then called 8/31 and told I needed a new starter and battery. I was told I had to pay over $500. I did not even have my car a FULL YEAR WHEN THIS OCCURRED. I advised I do not want a new battery as I have AAA. Also everything on my vehicle was on except it wouldn’t turn over. The tow driver even checked my battery before even towing my vehicle. Then when he called back he stated the starter was installed and the battery was charged it was working fine. I went to pick up my vehicle I had to pay $250 deductible which is outrageous for a vehicle I had not even had 1 year. My vehicle was not washed. And they did not do my rust proofing that I asked for on 8/19 to be completed since they already had my vehicle. I will never use their service center again I wish I could cancel the rust proofing off my loan.

After my last visit, the check engine light appeared. Waited a month for service appointment. Brought vehicle in the night before. Was called to say vehicle was ready. Left work to pick up my wife from work. I went my separate way after pick up only to have her call me to say light was still on. Both of us had to return to dealership. Tech read invoice wrong. The part was not installed as now we have to wait for it to come in. Both of us lost time at work and will have to do this again whenever part comes in AND when there is an available appointment time.
