Have cars listed they don't even have in stock , reached out about a car was told they sold yet over a week later same car still posted on numerous sites in inventory not accurate or they leave up so you call and try and steer you into something else not close to what you were looking for and response back not sure even dealing with sales so they don't seem interested in selling

Dealer markup is ridiculous on top of the expensive apr for financing recommend bringing a mechanic and find a privatly owned used vehicle over going to a dealership, too overpriced for what their vehicles blue book value actually is.

Just purchased a 2023 GMC Acadia. When we test drove the vehicle BEFORE buying, the passenger seatbelt would not buckle. The buckle applicator was broken, it wouldn’t click in. We told the salesman, Pat, about it. He said that would be fixed. When we got the money from our credit union we called to see if the vehicle was ready & the seatbelt was fixed (it had to in order to pass NYS car inspection) they said yes it was ready and to come in. It was not fixed. But still they passed it under inspection? We were told to come back today and they will fix it. We had to accept because they took my cars plates off and put it on the new vehicle. We arrived home to show our daughter and my mom the new car and when we turned it on and THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. My husband called right away and they said to bring it in today. So he did. And he then noticed a gash in the tire and requested that to be replaced. He waited over an hour just to be told it was our fault rushing them to have the vehicle ready yesterday? That is false, we called and they said the vehicle was ready. And told that we now have to wait until Thursday to get the purge pump shortage fixed, the tire and the seatbelt applicator. My husband asked how will we be compensated since this is a huge inconvenience and they said fixing the vehicle (that had a warranty) for free was our compensation? My husband was displeased with how they handled this situation and requested our money back and they said no. Because we got a great deal on the vehicle, which is false because we bought it for exactly what they were selling it for. And they said they took our vehicle when payments were still owed which is also false, it said in the title we gave them there’s no lien. Very unprofessional and very quick to make a sale and get us out the door. Very sad we had to deal with this and now we’re stuck with this vehicle.

The selection is UNREAL. The attention to detail. We had a car to sell. Drove in got a fantastic offer. Dropped off the car we were treated like royalty. I highly recommend a trip to the Basil dealership. 5-☆☆☆☆☆

Loved my experience here a few years back. Was in the market for a new car this month. I was left a vm saying I would need a hefty down payment. I called back Corey and left a voicemail and never received any communication back. If you’re not an easy sale, with perfect credit dont waste your breath. I was totally brushed off and not taken seriously.

Salesman Alex M. was beyond wonderful. We were in a rush to get a vehicle and Alex had everything buttoned up faster than I have ever personally experienced at other dealerships. He responded to texts and calls immediately, had everything prepared, and really went out of his way to help. Joe Basil will be my go-to dealership for future needs because of his service.
