Staff lied about contacting me day of so i had to reschedule and waited over 2 hrs for something that was supposed to take an hr. Front desk was rude and condescending.

Had to book a week out, but once I had the appointment it was a very smooth process. Dropped my car off in the morning and it was ready to pickup before lunchtime. Everyone I interacted with was professional and polite.

Never going back there again. I will also recommend others to use a different glass company. I made appointment almost a week ago for my wife's vehicle. I show up for appointment, check in and give them my key. Told me around 1 to 1.5 hour wait. So after I sit for almost 1.5 hours they then come out to tell me they realized they don't have the part they need and it will be at least another 2+ hours by the time they get it and do installation. So they wanted me to sit 4+ hours like it's no big deal. Totally unacceptable to have an appointment set and not have the parts needed and then tell me after I waited all that time already. I don't have 4 hours to waste out of my days because you over book and don't have the part needed for a scheduled appointment! Do yourselves a favor and go to a different company.

I initiated a claim with Geico and it recommended me to Safelite saying that they would be able to replace my glass Monday, 11/20 between 12pm and 5pm. I waited at home all day with no contact until AFTER 5pm saying they would not be able to take me that day and that I would have to take it into the shop the next day. I was unwilling to do so, therefore, I quickly changed my claim to Glass America, and had my windshield replaced asap with no issues. Do yourself a favor and call Glass America at Wherle at Union Road instead.

I have dealt with Safelite in the past, and they are a great company. My only complaint right now is that when I call the company, I cannot verbally speak to someone on the phone. The automated system tells you to go on the website to chat with a representative. I don't feel we should be forced to use the internet to speak with someone at a business that we're trying to pay for a service. What if I'm an elderly person and am not computer savvy? I'm kind of denied service if I can't utility the internet to get my needs met.

Had a windshield replaced and started leaking a year or less later. Took in for warranty they could not find leak. When I water tested vehicle myself I was able to find the leak in 30 seconds, I offered to teach them how to water test and they declined and replaced windshield anyways. Great no more leaks for now! Unfortunately they are not skilled enough to finish the job. I had to clean out my truck of scrap material, realign my windshield wiper arms myself to align with the obvious dots on the windshield for proper placement, when doing this I found plastic trim not secure under the cowl so had to pull that and tuck back into place, and also a piece of plastic trim that goes over my antenna and clips onto the side of the cowl was just laying in the engine bay, thankfully I did not drive the truck far only from safelite to my house as if that piece was lost a replacement would be hard to find for a OEM part. Appointment was for a Thursday at 11 am, 3 hours later I got a call that no leaks could be found, not sure how as it was obvious. Was told to leave truck and it would be done Friday. I get a email stating a 930 appointment and did not hear anything all day. When I called I was told they were working on it now (4pm). They close at 6. I get a call at 5:45 saying I can get the truck not much time there if I lived far away. They offered to leave it outside if I wanted to get it after hours, convenient but never locked the doors. Lots of crime these days I didn’t appreciate my doors being left unlocked for anyone to help themselves to my belongings. Lousy diagnosis, lousy time deadlines, and I am sure it was a rush job seeing as I had to finish the job myself. This is not hard work. Xtreme auto glass will be my next place of choice in the future.

Andrew was a great tech, it was a hard job but the guy kept grinding through and never took a break. 3 Hours straight, I loved this guy, if we only had more people like him.

Very friendly and professional, did an excellent job with the window I can't remember the techs name to give him credit on here but I do remember Rodolfo went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, even got us a cup of ice for our soda that was hot.

Made app't & dropped off old truck for windshield replacement. They refused to do job due to small amount of surface rust on roof near top of windshield. No structural issue, mind you, merely cosmetic. They expected me to pay over $1K for unnecessary body work on a 15-yr-old pickup to have my 100% insurance-covered glass replaced! Told 'em to go to hell, asked my mechanic who to see, & had a great job done by Extreme Auto Glass with NO problem! Came home happy, & my neighbor told me that he once had the WRONG SIZE windshield installed by Safelite: his car whistled when he drove it away! So the so-called "experts" had to redo the job. Don't give Safelite the time of day: save yourself a headache & call Extreme Auto Glass instead! MUCH better, & can do the work in their shop or at your location!

Very helpful and kind. Our window shattered unexpectedly when we were traveling. They helped us out and put on a temporary wrap til the glass could be replaced. They worked quickly, and the work was good. It survived a 300+mile highway trip.
