“Great bartenders, cheap drinks and everyone is friendly here. They host events open to the public usually once a month with live bands. They also have fish fry Fridays from 4-8 every Friday that are delicious. Would definitely recommend.”

“This place BLEW MY MIND. It honestly felt like I had stepped back in time!
I was amazed by the selection and offerings of Funky Town Vintage. They seem to specialize in mid-century modern and 70's furniture. They also had A TON of old jukeboxes, stereos, tv's and speakers.
Perhaps the most interesting find was a shag/fur 70's headboard with mirrors above the pillows and a built-in stereo system with 8-track (sadly I did not take a picture).
They also had a really cool man-cave/basement section with 70's barware and electronics.
The prices will make your eyes bulge, but if you are an avid collector/interior-designer/movie-prop coordinator, you MUST check this place out!
Free Parking on-site. They also offer u-haul rentals for those who need it (pretty clever in the off chance you decide to buy something large unexpectedly).
A note for accessibility: This place is mobility friendly, the entrance is ground level, and there is a ramp to take you to the back warehouse.”
“I love this place. I never go there when I'm rushed. You never know what great finds are there. I gather everything that looks interesting. They'll collect it for you in a basket at the desk. I then try everything on and select. Yesterday when I visited, I set up my entire summer wardrobe for an average of $10 per item. Although it's a second-hand shop, most of what I bought had original tags. It spoils me from ever paying full price. They do a great job of selecting only good quality clothes in great condition.”
“Went here on a whim yesterday and will definitely be back! There is so much to look at / choose from I was a bit overwhelmed, but the owner (I am assuming) was super nice and very helpful. I got exactly what I was looking for at a great price! They have just about everything, but if you need formal wear (formal dinner, prom, mother of the bride etc) check here first!”

“My daughter and I had an amazing experience at this consignment store yesterday! The selection of luxury brands like Gucci, Chanel, YSL, and Lilly Pulitzer was fantastic. “Nice little multi-vendor antique/vintage market. We were all Ming for the Ancini diner on this same plaza (great breakfasts) and stumbled across this antique shop. Glad we did! Got some vintage tools at a good price. Real mix of vintage, collectibles, garage sale items and antiques. Mix of furniture and smalls. Never know what you'll find!”
“This is as close as you'll find to a permanent garage sale. It looks like a tornado hit the place and they gave up trying to organize it. But if you're willing to dig, you can find some amazing things at amazing prices. I will definitely be back!”

“This location always has the nicest people working at it. They are also very helpful. I have to say that the reason I'm give 4 instead of 5 stars is because of having to listen repeatedly the addiction stories. When you have a loved one that suffers from a lifelong, 44 + years of addiction, its very upsetting to listen to. I am happy for those that have found their sobriety, they are blessed, they did, and do the work. My lived one hasn't, he blessed to still be alive. For those of us that love him, its daily heart break, year after year 💔 🙏”

“I used to love Plato’s closet. It’s clean, well organized, the staff is lovely. However, since I have gained weight I noticed that the VAST majority of the store is small/medium sizes, with xl/2xl taking up a tiny portion of the racks. This is really disappointing to me, but maybe it’s just because people aren’t selling many clothes of that size. All this being said, if you wear a size small/medium or even large you will have a great time here. Just don’t be fat 🫠”
