Horrible customer service they have very few registers with actual people, and for the self checkouts they have there is very few registers so there's always lines of 10+ people. They also keep things such as Pre workout, Formula and socks locked up with no one around to assist. Walmarts not what it used to be. I'd give them 0 Stars if possible

I filled my rx there because they carry the manufacturer I need. The pharmacist was nice. The tech was really great too! She is someone I would love to have as a coworker. I was there on 10/29/23

What happened to the customer being right mindset at Walmart Lancaster - Transit Rd???? No wonder why there was no line at the checkout with your employees but both self-checkout areas were packed. The cashier on lane 5 didn't know what the heck she was doing today and I could barely hear her when she chose to speak to me Sunday 9/3/23 at 11:28 AM. If I wanted to bag my own groceries I would have gone to self-checkout. At least if I would have gone to self-checkout, I would have been able to use all of my gift card instead of my own money and my husband wouldn't have been called a liar by your customer service desk people.

Trying to pickup an order that was ready hours earlier. I have waited over 30 minutes. Watching others pull up, get orders and leave within about 10 mins. Ridiculous. Such a waste of time!

I try to avoid going here if I can but with it being close to home it is the easiest place to get things that I need. It is cluttered and understaffed. Food is expensive and quality questionable I have gotten expired food on a few occasions and the milk only ever seems to be good for a few days walmart needs to start hiring people and paying a decent wage to keep the people they have

Could have been better if they had paper bags ever. It's just another Walmart that could try a little harder.

For over a couple of years now, I generally have not stepped foot in a grocery store ... I LOVE THE PICK-UP! I was picking up at Walmart on Transit in Williamsville/Clarence for most of that time, which is the most convenient location for me. But a few months ago they abruptly stopped pick-up services due to staffing shortages. This would not do, as I do a grocery pickup for our family of four nearly every week. So I quickly reset my online cart to this Transit Depew location, which thankfully has never had an interruption in their pick-up service. Once I started coming to this Walmart for grocery pick-up, even though it is a little farther of a drive for me, I haven't stopped. The quality of the pick-up service here is far better than the Transit Williamsville/Clarence service. The staff is much friendlier, and they take an extra minute to put your items more carefully in bags (if you bring your own bags), compared to the other Walmart that at times would ignore my bags and just chuck things in haphazardly. Sure, it isn't perfect bagging here, they are still on a timer, but it is at least adequate and very friendly. Plus they are more careful with leak'ables, bagging any cleaning products or other bottles in plastic first. Also, I never have to wait very long here for my pick-up order to come out, versus the other Walmart I had to wait over and hour a few times! Here my order is usually out in ten minutes or less from the time I check-in, on occasion a bit longer, but never over an hour wait. And overall I think this Walmart has a better variety of the kinds of products my family uses. We are all vegetarian, some vegan, some keto, and I think the plant-based and keto products here are more abundant than at the other store. It has been great trying new things, many of which have become regulars now in my pickup shopping repertoire here. And, like any Walmart, you really can't beat the prices on a lot of things. As grocery prices go up-up-up, yes, sadly Walmart's prices have gone up too. But comparatively to other grocery stores, Walmart generally still has everyone beat. So for the convenience and the savings, I will continue to regularly use this Walmart's pick-up service indefinitely. It is a really wonderful service for our busy fam', thanks so much for offering this FREE and FANTASTIC pick-up perk to your shoppers!

Came to this location because they carry Plugra butter for significantly cheaper than anywhere else in the area. However just like most Walmarts, the shelves are messy and there's stuff out of place. The store was modern though, and all the staff members I interacted with were friendly.

I went to Walmart for two simple things, I waited 20 minutes for someone to come open the case for a razor, it took calling the store for them to do something about it because their buttons are not working, after I checked out with a half gallon of milk and the razor blade, the lady by the door was watching me cash out and stopped my boyfriend and I and wouldn't let us leave until she looked at our receipt, I get it if we had a cart full but again it was 2 things she watched us cash out for, absolutely terrible customer service and rude employees, definitely the worst Walmart in town

Aug 9, 2021... This is the last time i ever shop at this Walmart. Don't blame pandemic for this. Management stinks. How employees handle customers is atrocious. Rude, not available for questions, talking/messaging on cells, could go on and on. Stock is very low. But had a few items to CASH out. 5 or 6 aisles open with at least 3 full basket customers. Go to self checkout...4 people in line. 6 checkout machines with 1 inoperative. Waiting my turn the attendant lets 3 people behind me go! She asks "cash or card"? I'm cash...so tough luck. Only 2 cash machines! Both with full basket customers. I would have to wait 15 minutes while cards go thru. I don't use cards and never will. Walmart doesn't want your cash!! I left with nada. When this store opened years ago it was even worse. But now it's reverted back to that. DO NOT SHOP THERE...YOU WILL LEAVE DISTRESSED AND ANGRY. Shopping should not be that. Even some customers need elementary school lessons in being polite and considerate of others. Good bye wally world, lancaster ny.
